Transit Hub Roundabout II

This is a large roundabout (20-cells in diameter) modified with roadways inside of the roundabout providing room for multiple bus lines to have a stop while maintaining smooth traffic flow. In addition, space has been left for a metro station in the center of everything. Finally, four small roads exit the roundabout in between the usual four large roads. All pedestrian access to the center of the roundabout is via the included pedestrian bridges.

This is a variation of my own Transit Hub Roundabout. As I added more pedestrian and bike paths to the city, I found myself surrounding all of my roundabouts with pedestrian paths as a sidewalk. I seemed natural to elevate these paths to make them an integral part of the access into the transit hub. And I got tired of modifying the first Transit Hub Roundabout every single time. And thus, a new asset was born.



Traffic Manager: President Edition is recommended to restrict entry into the roundabout to public transport vehicles and, when needed, to fine tune the lanes and crosswalks.

Hide TMPE crosswalks V3.0 is recommended to hide unwanted crosswalks.



City Fountain 3x3 will provide you with an attractive fountain that can be plopped without needing a road. This fountain will help carry electricity into and through the roundabout.



The asset that you download has gaps in the pedestrian bridges as they pass over the avenues. This is because, every time that I plop the asset in place, at least some of the bridges over the avenues would fail to materialize or be destroyed when I modified the road type to something else. It was easier to leave intentional gaps that I could fill in later.
