Description
This is the core mod for Eccentric Tech and contains shared research, buildings, and materials used by several other mods in this series.

Mod Contents

Core adds the following content:

Research Projects:

  • Aurora Core - Enables construction of the Aurora Core, which unlocks the rest of the technologies for Eccentric Tech.
  • Nanofabrication - Enables construction of Nanofabricators and Nanoassemblers, precision nano-scale facilities that are capable of producing advanced Second Wave materials, components, and equipment.
  • High-Density Hex Cells - Enables production of High-Density Hex Cells at the Nanofabricator. HD Hex Cells are advanced power storage devices used in Second Wave weapons and equipment.

Buildings:

  • Aurora Core - An advanced AI mainframe hosting a reconstruction of The Eccentric's military-grade starship persona, AP-0176 "Aurora". Attaching this to a Hi-Tech Research Bench allows the decryption of Aurora's database and the use of her hoarded technologies.
  • Nanofabricator - A precision nano-scale production facility capable of manufacturing advanced Second Wave materials such as Nanoweave and High-Density Hex-Cells.
  • Nanoassembler - A precision nano-scale production facility capable of building Second Wave weapons, equipment, and smart apparel.

Materials:

  • High-Density Hex Cells - A compact energy storage device capable of extremely high energy density while remaining remarkably stable. Used in Second Wave weapons and smart apparel.
  • Nanoweave - A smart fabric comprised of layers of synthetic threads, microscopic plasteel reinforcements, and artificial muscle fibers. On its own it is unremarkable and barely stronger than synthread, but it can be used to produced advanced Second Wave smart apparel and bionic implants at the Nanoassembler.

The following mods do not strictly require Eccentric Tech - Core, but have additional content unlocked if it is loaded:

Eccentric Tech - Defense Grid: allows for the fabrication of high-energy shield cores from the Nanoassembler.

Eccentric Tech - Fusion Power: allows for the fabrication of TFG modules from the Nanofabricator.

Eccentric Tech - Cosmetic Modifications: allows for direct crafting of cosmetic implants at the Nanoassembler.

Run and gun continued updated to fix the instant melee problem, so I change run and gun to run and gun continued and the error show up, revert it back to run and gun and the error is gone, if you can't find anything wrong with that mod in particular, then it's probably a combination of stuffs

or maybe it's rimsort doing something weird, I notice it sometimes tries to sort prepatcher below harmony until I refresh the modlist or reopen the program, it then will sort it correctly, maybe it's just load order problem

I've been working on my modlist since I made the report due to different problem (white line on low hp wall) and before I knew it, the error stopped showing up

I did change run and gun continued back to run and gun (the temporary update one) due to instant melee bug, but iirc it was still showing error after the change, and due to your comment (and because I accidentally added a mod I don't actually want,) I tried replacing run and gun with the continued version and the error doesn't show up anymore

the mod that caused the white line is vanilla faction expanded empire or deserter, one of the two, but I just remove both
just incase one of them is the cause, if they're not, then I guess it's kinda a false alarm, sorry

@[SV] - Heya! Thank you for the report, but unfortunately I'll need some help in narrowing down exactly which mod might be causing the conflict. I tested the continued version of Run and Gun which has caused issues in the past, but am not getting the same error on load.

here is the error in particular (Eccentric Projectiles) Unable to find injection point for cooldown notification transpiler. This is probably due to a mod incompatibility, please notify the mod author!

not sure what is causing it, I added a couple of mods today, but removing them all doesn't remove the error, I removed a rim reborn classes and jobs which is showing in one of the error but it only remove 1 red error out of 4, the other 3 still persist

the last time I played the game was 2 days ago and there was no red error showing

I haven't get into the game yet, so I don't know if it's harmless error or not

@Princess Katsume - If you are using one of the mods that alters building layering / perspective drawing, then you need to have it exclude the Aurora Core since it does custom rendering.

the core hologram is appearing undeneath the core instead of on top
