Description
Description:
WVE adds several new turrets & weapons to your game.
Some are specific to certain races, others are available to all factions. All new items require adequate licences to be bought.
The mod is made to be used in conjuction with SCO, though can be used on its own, or with VRO provided you use the patch.
The mod may be expanded upon in the future.


VRO Version:
There is a VRO patch available thanks to EagleDelta, you may find it here.

Why only vanilla effects/sounds/models?
Because i haven't looked into creating custom effects/sounds. I may do so in the future, but it is rather unlikely as i'm busy with stuff.

Can you add X?

focusing on less shield damage and specific range suggestions:
"The mod is good, but for the Railgun Turret, the damage to shields must be drastically lower. The range is excessive and should be set to around 5.5 to 6.0." -_-

Is there a possibility to change the mod so that only the main weapons are added without the turrets?

Nice Mod, Much seems to be well thought out, but not everything
The "ARG Proton Pulse Turret [L]" is stupid Overpwered and no balanced.
Same the "SPL Railgun Turret [L]" Both ruin the Balance massiv.

It should be compatible with the newest update judging by the patchnotes, no idea about the expansion as I dont have it.

Understand, thanks for fast reply. Is it possible to change it? Tryed before writing here, but on my side it's just a number of random letters and numbers with other weird symbols.

Hello, really enjoing this mod, but I have small problem. Is ARG L Proton turret really must have bullet speed of 5500 m/s? In every discription proton weaponry is like plasma, exept it deals more dmg and damages hull trough shield, but having similar or less bullet speed, and have longer reload time than plasma. So why if ARG turret have almost 12 times faster bullets then his plasma brother. It's not really big problem in capital vs capital battle, but then all Argon L-XL ships use them, even pirates, almost any M class ship can't survive encounter with it.

Any way to lower the odds npcs use these by about 50%? nearly ALL capitals use the railguns and then just sit at max range near defence platforms forever never really doing any damage and OOS is just a joke they wont damage the station at all with railguns.
