Description
Insurgent Zeus Modules

A lightweight Zeus addon that adds more functionality for your game masters to provide risk, danger and immersion to your players.

This includes;

  • Bury vanilla A3 IEDs/Mines/Explosives or ACE3 pressure plate IEDs to make them significantly harder to spot

  • Create a Vehicle Borne IED (VBIED) that will detonate shortly after the engine has been turned on

  • A module that adds a "detonate" scroll wheel option to remote controlled AI.

  • Three "Wire" objects to allow game masters to leave indicators towards explosives




ABOUT US

Ratworks is the 4th infantry Brigade Milsim[4thib.co.uk] unit's project group. With creators outside of the 4thib, they are working to publish smaller quality of life mods for Arma 3 to ensure milsim communities and others have the functionality to create realistic, immersive campaigns and missions.

is there a way to make the VBIED detonate once the driver gets within a range of blufor?

i'd need to do it via Zeus too live in-game lol

I can't seem to figure out how to use the suicide bomber menu.

Tried this in SP and it is a cracking mod, really adds to it. But when we tried it on a dedicated server the Hide IED module seemed to not work. Any idea what that could be?

@diamond Nope, it needs to be on both client and server as it has objects.

@SDP_914 At the moment, it's a single explosive satchel. We may have a look at varying the yield in the future. The damage it does to modded vehicles isn't something we can really control unfortunately.

what is the explosion size on the suicide bomber? it feels excessive for it to one tap a SEPv2 Abrams. is there a way to scale the explosive yield? Like say some guys can be given a hand grenade level explosive and some can be given a mortar shell level?

One thing I've noticed is when you bury an IED then defuse it, the wire that spawns from the bury module stays in place and the ground still has the same visual as if the IED was still buried there.
