解説

PSA: In order to fix a critical bug I've had to reduce the range granted by this mod significantly from 4000 meters to 600. However the default is 30 so it's still worth using.

What does this mod do?

Massively increases the range of the short range scanner in order to make data leak scanning less tedious and annoying. This should make it easier to scan from M ships as well as make it possible to scan from L and XL ships if you so desire.

Does this make the game easier?

Yes, technically, but I think it just saves you time. The range is still short enough that you'll have to go into station turret range, so I don't think it effects the balance of the game.

I would like to get back on the game...but I prefer going to hell than having to deal with the scans :D

To be honest, if it was longer for the suit, i fear i would cause trouble in some situations. as an example when you blow an emp bomb and get multiple data leaks close to each other.

Wish this worked on the suit scanner. Honestly space ship is annoying but fine... Suit scanner is completely bugged/broken and devs don't care.

I really wish this worked with the space suit, I'm so sick and tired of not being able to scan emp leaks on stations because they are in areas I can't get to because of invisible walls, broken hit boxes. It's always just 1 or 2 m out of range.
