Vanilla Social Interactions Expanded means to bring much more needed life to your pawns and interactions they have. This mod alters what pawns do in their spare time, puts some extra emphasis on relations tab and adds many mechanics that breathe fresh air into otherwise boring and stale game. Pawns now also have aspirations that can be fulfilled to gain powerful mood buffs, and the whole inspiration system is also changed.

Many new mechanics are added and each of them can be individually disabled if you dislike it, through the power of mod options. We are constantly looking to improve, so if you have any feedback, don’t hesitate to leave a comment and let us know!

We spent a lot of time working on this mod and even more time testing it, but if there are any issues you encounter, please make your way to the Known Issues section for instructions what to do.

Q: Is this mod compatible with Combat Extended?
A: Should be, I hope.

Q: I dislike X mechanic, can I disable it?
A: Yes, mod options.

Q: Do I need Vanilla Expanded framework for this to work?
A: Absolutely.

Q: Does this mod work with Psychology/other mods that change pawn traits etc?
A: Yes, they should.

Q: Can I add it to an ongoing save? Can I remove it?
A: Yes, you can add it whenever you like, however bear in mind removing a mod from an ongoing save is bad practice and can result in save corruption. Always back up your saves when adding new mods!

Q: Does this work with other mods changing inspirations?
A: If another mod changes vanilla inspirations, chances are our mod will be incompatible.

I have encountered the loop error of has null relation-return dummy relation twice. The object was a faction that has never appeared before and cannot be found, after I ended a map with enemies.

Every day we stray further from God - and every save I run ultimately suffers from cripping malfunction amplified or caused by the Vanilla Expanded series. I mean, why on Earth does this mod here mess with raid generation so bad? Does every single one of the 253 undead raiders need a complex backstory and social relations?

Does anyone know how long the "Pawn went berserk. I can never feel safe around them." -20 debuff lasts? Or is that a permanent thing? If it is can is there an option to disable that?

The description for saving/treating a pawn's spouse uses the wrong title. basically wife and husband are swapped. I also saw this applied to a pawn not in a relationship. It just said cured my "pawn name". I will always be grateful. This isn't really a bug, just something weird I noticed

not sure if this is intended or not: IngestedHumanFlesh is worsening my game. a pawn ate human flesh in a critical situation (without me even knowing) and now, after years, everybody hate him. i think this could be modified to be a year long situation instead a pemanent one.
is there a way to manually fix this without disabling 'social environment thoughts' alltogether?

Skill chitchat is nice, venting is nice.
Parties are ridiculously bugged (two pawns drink like 100 beer one after another developing addictions).
Inspirations suck and CANNOT BE EXCLUDED (idk check other comments same bug i think) also they take over vanilla pool because of their bloat so my pawns are on flirting frenzy 99% of the time.
Developing traits is mind boggling. I don't think you can even really play with it. At least THIS can be turned off.

Dunno. Kinda nice mod but I think it aged and it shows (with some bugs), I mean it is hard to keep pace with the base game getting so many updates compared to 7 yrs ago.
I mean even the mod menu is bugged, cmon.

also, i looked through the defs, do you not know what the [pronoun] variable is? for the 1.6 defs you have every def copied twice for the male vs female pronoun variations, just... use [pawn_pronoun] instead ... soooo many defs
