Description
50% Wood Weight
Reduce weight of planks, logs and a few related items to 50% of their original weight.

Affected items:
2 Logs Stack 3 Logs Stack 4 Logs Stack Log Notched Wooden Plank Plank Spiked Plank Tree Branch Unusable Wood

Details

Build 42+
Uses Lua to only modify the weight property of these items. This means this mod should not break anymore on future changes to related items.

Build 41
Uses scripts, which overrides all properties, but only of the items mentioned above.

To transport these boards you will need a pickup truck, not a backpack.

Sapling maybe missing as well, this mod helps a lot tho just not perfect as of 42.5.1

There are even newer wood objects now like Firewood but also some others like the 6.0 Large Branch that I'm not sure are left out on purpose or not.

Planks and those others listed in the description seem to work still tho 'unusable wood' might have been renamed or something.

@rere the mod is working correctly and what you posted are not the base values. I’d guess you had 2 mods active at the same time that reduced weight of wood.

Testing this mod, I realized that it is adding weight instead of reducing it, follow the base values ​​and the values ​​after adding the mod:

There are some additional wood items now that might be useful to add, on-theme. Maybe the "large branch" (6), "broken branch" (2), and "long stick" (2). A lot of these have weapon variants after adding a rail spike or nails (e.g. "broken branch with nails"). Not sure if you want to include things like that as well. Thanks for supporting the game with mods though! :spiffo:

I've updated the mod for build 42 and preserved compatibility with build 41. I haven't added new items yet because I haven't really played build 42 myself yet. If you feel any new items should be included, please let me know.
