Description
New Content
This mod adds several new Venator variants and other units, as well as new features to Fall of the Republic:
New Units
  • Rothana Heavy Transport
    A frigate-sized fleet tender originally designed by Rothana Heavy Engineering as a cargo ship.
    [Buildable in Era 2+.]

  • Venerator-class Cruiser
    An unpopular pre-war KDY design marketed at PDF forces. Has just a single bridge.
    [Buildable in Era 1-2, mission reward in all Eras.]

  • Ion Refit Venator Star Destroyer
    Swaps out the main turbolasers for ion cannons, and proton torpedoes for assault concussion missiles.
    [Buildable with Filry Vorru in orbit after being unlocked by Venator Research.]

  • Assault Refit Venator Star Destroyer
    This variant is equipped with extra weaponry and an SPHA-T laser ability.
    [Upgrade for existing Venator Star Destroyers after being unlocked by Venator Research.]

  • Vector Star Destroyer
    A late war Venator/Victory hybrid with improved weaponry and fighter complement compared to the Venator.
    [Buildable after being unlocked by Victory-II Research.]

  • Prototype Imperator Star Destroyer
    An early war prototype model that uses the Venator's bridge design. Slightly less capable at defending itself from starfighters.
    [Two granted for completing KDY Imperialization Resarch.]

  • Tempest Battlecruiser
    Designed as the Maelstrom's sister class it is focused on fighting ships of a similar tonnage, with an array of heavy turbolasers and ion cannons.
    [Buildable through KDY Market after being unlocked by Venator Research.]

  • Proclamator Battlecarrier
    A large Rothana-designed cruiser with a strong fighter complement and missile capabilities.
    [Buildable through KDY Market in Era 1+, mission reward in all Eras.]

New Features
  • Fleet Skins
    Similar to the Clone Legions feature, certain republic starships with now share the fleet symbols of heroes brought into battle. This can either be controlled on the galactic level through the options tab, or through deploying heroes in battle. Currently the three options are Open Circle Armada, Outland Regions Sector Forces, and Kuati Defence Force. The following units are affected by this feature:
    • Arquitens Light Cruiser
    • Dreadnaught Heavy Cruiser
    • Rothana Heavy Transport
    • Acclamator-I (Carrier Loadout)
    • Acclamator-I (Assault Loadout)
    • Acclamator-II
    • Victory-I Star Destroyer
    • Victory-II Star Destroyer
    • Venator Star Destroyer
    • Assault Refit Venator Star Destroyer
    • Ion Refit Venator Star Destroyer
    • Vector Star Destroyer

  • Republic Hero Changes
    Jace Dallin now gets a new texture to reflect his time in the ORSF, and Coy now commands a prototype Imperator. Minor Venator hero spawns from the Anaxes Academy are also now randomly assigned to one of the fleet options and will trigger skins for other units.

  • Hutt Venators
    Regular Venators that are captured by the Hutts and then upgraded get a new paintjob to reflect their new owners.

All new units are currently available in both Galactic Conquest and Instant Action. More variants and heroes are planned in the future. This submod needs the latest version of Fall of the Republic (1.4) to run.


How to Launch:
Go to Empire at War in you Steam Library, click on Settings, then Properties, and in the Launch Options box paste the following: STEAMMOD=2350985118 STEAMMOD=1976399102


Known and Unfixable Issues:
  • When issuing an SPHA-T laser firing order to one Venator, all Venators will move to fire their lasers.

I have downloaded FOTR version 1.4 as a local disk from ModDB. Is there anyway I can play this submod with my FOTR local disk?

One of my all time favorite mods.... So I got a question, any possible that you could make AT-TE and Saber Tank and so on have blue markings instead of the red markings for the 501st?
