I have downloaded FOTR version 1.4 as a local disk from ModDB. Is there anyway I can play this submod with my FOTR local disk?

One of my all time favorite mods.... So I got a question, any possible that you could make AT-TE and Saber Tank and so on have blue markings instead of the red markings for the 501st?

Yeah the SPHA beam is from canon but the new paintjob and the other extra weaponry are all fanon.

i just realised, you say all these are fanon, the assault refit is not entirely fanon as in the opening scene of Revenge of the Sith, we see a Venator fire a plasma beam at a Munificant Frigate (sorry if i spelled it wrong, im not much of a CIS player)

The Rothana Heavy Transport is based off a design from TFU, and you could make an argument that the Proclamator represents one of the mysterious "Rothana battlecruisers" but the rest are fanon.

Within the scope of Better Venators, probably not. That being said I do have some vague plans for a more expansive submod that would cover CIS content as well.

Do you think you'll ever make new stuff for the CIS as well, although I'm more of republic player. I'm not sure what exactly myself, but maybe like a late game Providence that has slightly better weapons and shields, but isn't a dreadnought, or a refitted Subjugator with higher caliber Weapons but loses the Super Ion Cannons. It's just that, the Republic gets all this cool stuff in the later eras like Star Destroyers and Sectors but the CIS stays the same mostly (they get the Battleship Lucrehulk) and as time goes on it either get easier as the Republic or more difficult as the CIS.

Yeah the Venerator model is a little janky, at some point I want to have a crack at modelling it myself and hopefully fix some of the issues.

I can see them now with Instant Action, very cool designs. I did notice with the Venerators that the right side heavy turbolaser batteries next to the supers structure are see through, trippy at first. The original locations of the dual bridges have some stretching/tearing going on, but that's expected without some added detail in place.

I did not see the Rothana Heavy Transports in galactic conquest, but I'll have to retry and see if everything shows up

Instant Action is a specific mode in EaWX that you can find under the “Game modes and historical battles tab”. It allows you to spawn in as many ships as you like to have them battle it out.

In era 5 the only thing that will be buildable by default is the Rothana Heavy Transport. Check the description to see how you can access the other units. If you still don’t see any, check you’re not running any other submods that might conflict with things.

When I randomly tried one of the conquests with tech 5 to see if the mod only really worked in galactic conquest, I still saw no options for the ships on any worlds

Yes, I suppose I meant skirmish battles, but what do you mean by instant action then? I assumed the distinction was galactic conquest [campaigns] vs instant action [skirmish battles]

well it was a venator with replaces the side hangers with the missile launchers from the victory one. and the bridges fused together

Yo bro. Great mod, had a blast with It. Especially love this Rothana tender. That is something which fits very well and was missing in basic FOTR GAR fleet set. Thanks.

I had to ask though, would It be difficult to make It work with GGC mods/Blue submod? I have only very basic programming skills, don't judge please. :-)

It's on both the recruitment and unit tooltips for the fleet officers/sector commanders who have it. Same as the clone legion skins.
