Real Imperial Administration

Description
NOTE: This mod has been deprecated, as it is now included in my Feudal Governments Expanded mod. Please use that instead if you want the latest version of this mod.

I always thought it was weird how Feudal governments get access to the "Imperial" Administration crown law, but passing the law doesn't actually change your government type to Imperial - you just stay as a Feudal forever.

Well this mod changes that. Now when you pass the Imperial Administration law, your government type will change to Imperial and you will unlock access to the Imperial Elective succession type.

You will be able to keep the Imperial government (and succession law) as long as you hold the Imperial Administration law; changing the administration laws back to "Late" Feudal will revert you to Feudal government type and/or take away your Imperial Elective succession.

The change of governments should happen on its own after passing the law, but it usually takes a few in-game days to kick in. However if you don't want to wait, a high priority decision will become available immediately upon passing the Imperial Administration law, which will in turn allow you to immediately switch to Imperial government without any delay.

Lastly, I have added a new rule to the rule screen called "Adopting Roman Imperialism". Its options are as follows.
-Unrestricted: By default, you can adopt both Roman Imperialism and Imperial Succession as soon as you pass the Imperial Administration Law.
-Restricted: With this option, only Imperial Succession will be unlocked when the Imperial Administration Law is passed. You must then adopt (and maintain) Imperial Succession as well to gain access to the Imperial Government type.

And, as mentioned earlier, having your Administration revert back to "Late" will invalidate Imperial Government and/or Elective for both the Restricted and Unrestricted options.

hi mate, I am a great fan of the mod! I love to play using Imperial Elective succession.

I was wondering what is the ID of the decision when you turn on debug_mode. I used to see this option a lot, but cannot for some reason recently. thank you !

that would be caused by something else, this mod doesn't modify the vanilla Imperial Government type but creates a new mostly identical version of it. In any case you should use the latest version of this mod available as part of my "Feudal Governments Expanded" mod.

I have an issue where when I become the roman empire it does not give me the option to go imperial, it reverts to feudal

is this compatible with a mid game save? was hoping to see if I can get to witness any other empire turn into an imperial government other than just the ERE (which I am playing as)

you're gonna have to be more specific than that.

I still enjoy ck2 more than ck3 to this day simply because of its mod-ability. But not all modders are keeping their mods up to date like you are and I really appreciate when one of them does. Thank you.

Do you have a link we can send a donation to by chance?
