First level? I liked the added some visual flair and decorations to your own levels. Some important things, your roads are not capped, it's really important to put caps on roads. You also didn't place cooldowns at all, it forced to barrel roll. I understand that you think boosting at all times is cheese, but Distance actually supports boosting at all times, in fact, the game wants you too. Part of the challenge is not messing up so you can boost at all times. If you want to know what I mean, play the official campaign levels. Aside from the first level they're all built to allow the player the boost the whole time if they don't mess up.

Love how you made split paths though, I don't see a lot of first levels do that. You got good ideas, just need to be aware of the boost management in your levels, and cap the splines! kali's points are very good too so I don't want to repeat those.

Fair enough, it’s ugly! I actually love the repeated droppers. I figured getting it functional before pretty would be a place to start. I am also of the camp that boosting all the time is cheese as heck, but I guess spamming barrel rolls is cheese too, if a sort.

My god why are there so many droppers holy frick its just one after another there are other obstacles that you can use instead of just flying enemies.

i cant see at the final stretch of road because the lights are so bright, it wouldnt be so bad except there are illuminate pyramids popping out of the ground that i cant see because of the light and the surplus of droppers and random barriers in the road.

The idea of having split roads so that there are built in shortcuts is cool but its sometimes hard to find where you are supposed to go when the road stops, you just get thrown into space and have to find your way.

I dont know why the checkpoints are so far apart without any cooldown rings in between. After playing and dying frequently i had to find out where to do barrel rolls because nothing in the map indicates when i need to do them.

Alright

I hate this map but I see that this is your first level and you are looking for constructive feedback so I am going to rant while also try to give helpful information (hopefully).

My initial thought was that this map was hot garbage. I would have just called it garbage but there is steam randomly coming up through the road and i dont know why because there is nothing there to create the steam, its just a particle thrown in there.
