Description
Adds ammocrafting to Project Zomboid

To make any one round of any weapon caliber you will need a bullet tip, a casing of corresponding caliber and an amount of gunpowder depending on the caliber and then bring it together with a Reloader press.

This mod adds:
  • Boxes of bullet tips and casings scattered around Knox county.
  • New icons for all magazines and ammo types.
  • Books and magazines with the recipes for dismantling ammo.
  • Jars of gunpowder that hold 10 regular gunpowder.
  • Two new tools with icons and 3D models: Reloading press and a pair of pliers.
  • The ability to cast new bullets and re-use spent casings by reloading the primer.

I feel like this mod has replaced most ammo boxes I would normally find with ammo parts instead, resulting in overall less ammo. That's not good as I have ammo set very very low with another mod. I can't afford to have even less. I was hoping for a mod to break ammo down and craft different ammo, not one that adds a ton of ammo parts to the world. That's not very realistic...go into a military base and just fine boxes of ammo parts instead of boxes of ammo.

casting bullet tips requiring lead scrap is a bit much. lead pipes are extremely rare

@Hyzo I dont know if you still actively maintain and update the mod but i have a suggestion about a feature. Could it be possible make us be able to dismantle and get lead scraps from car batteries?

Is it just me or crafting a single bullet take a tad too long? 5 seconds to craft a bullet maybe a bit harsh? Would you consider adding a mod option to tweak crafting speed?
