SALT Crawler

Description
Rumbling across treacherous terrain, the Support/Assault Logistical Transport (SALT) Crawler faces down withering enemy fire to move troops and supplies across the battlefield. Whether being dropped from orbit or rocketing over canyons with its hydrogen thrusters and gyroscopic control, the SALT Crawler is a reliable bulwark of combat and exploration logistics.

This is a conventional roleplay build (it's a combat rover, what do you expect) without subgrids, other than wheels, that I've used in several cinematics. It has a 6x6 suspension that's been tuned for hilly terrain and... jumping. The downward-facing hydrogen thrusters allow the SALT Crawler to "surf" for short periods of time. Despite its weight, it can drive up steep grades with the assistance of two forward-facing hydrogen thrusters. Small vehicles can park on the roof or in the rear 3x3x2 hangar.

This vehicle will function fully without DLC, though you will be missing LCDs, catwalks, railings, lockers, certain doors, and the rear gate.

ive been using this rover for so long and i absolutely love it. ive modified it for mods i use over the last couple of years and i still use it in my survival worlds to this day thank you for making this awesome build

I like to actually expend resources to build things so I put this on a projector and build it up and ran into a couple of issues. First, when I built the armor around the wheels, only the middle two wheels would actually spawn, the other four were just the suspension until I removed the blocks directly above the suspension and could finally spawn wheels, but the blocks that I removed don't want to be built again. This is a good model, but not practical if you want to build it and expend resources.

The minute it spawns in, the whole front half blows up and makes a 10 foot crater where the forn t was. I hope that helps out?

@sithrevan16 I can't seem to replicate the issue, but it sounds like the wheels are clipping when it spawns. If this is the case, it's probably due to the hydrogen tanks over the rear wheels. These can be removed without breaking the conveyor system. I recommend spawning it in a world with "Destructible Blocks" turned off. This should make it obvious where the wheels are clipping, and allow you to fix it and take a new blueprint.

I spawned it in 40 times and each time the damn thing blow up in my face each time.
