Shared Storage

Description
This mod makes storage buildings function like they used to in an older version of the game, they are linked and share content

If there are more than one storage buildings for one type of resource on the map, they will automatically balance their content to be equal, effectively acting as if they were just different access points to a single storage

You can choose in the mod settings if you would like different tiers of containers (ex: small and large crates) to balance with each other, or remain separate.

Features two sliders in the setting that let the player customize the balancing speed, so that if they have performance problems on larger maps, they can slow down the mod to speed up the game. On the other hand, if performance is not an issue, they can drastically accelerate the storage balancing speed for maximum throughput!

- Be able to see the total capacity of all your storages in one building, instead of its own internal balanced content

'Glad someone could make use of some of my code at least! I think there should be an official way to do shared storage (or storage links) at a high level in the game. Logistics becomes a nightmare.

Best Mod ever!
Rule of thumb. Plan out your builds before spamming seed crates everywhere. I always think twice before setting up another shared crate and will always have a plan on how to reset the crate if I need to.

I really Dont like this Mod When I was hard on work on a smart tree prouduction It kept wasting all my seeds :(

So far this has been pretty helpful, I always get annoyed by having to build a new storage location then create some ungodly number of bots to start feeding supplies to them.

One issue I have noted so far is that when I made a chest then needed to quickly delete the chest because I wanted to get rid of it and place it back down I got an angry error log that seemed like the system was still trying to balance the resource among a chest that was no longer in existence.

I'll look into sharing storage between different stack sizes, that is indeed an interesting feature.

As for your other request (disconnecting crates), while I agree that it would be convenient and often useful, it requires some UI changes, some savegame changes, etc. This would increase the scope of the mod considerably, and I don't think I want to spend that kind of time on this little tool.

As a suggestion, what I do when I want to empty crates, is temporarily disable the mod to do it. I bring my "to be emptied" crates in my garbage area, and when I have enough, I disable shared storage and empty all of them at once (using bots, stone heads and brooms, not by hand). It takes maybe 10min at worst, and then I can re-enable it.

It might be good to add an option if possible, similar to how you can pick if you want lvl 2 crates to mix with the lvl 1 crates or not, if we could toggle if we want different stack tiers to be separate? Like if I have a 3 stack of basic crates, and a 1 basic crate, they wouldn't mix. I'd like that option if possible. Just a suggestion! Hope I made sense

It would be nice if it could be made to where there's a checkbox or something you can uncheck if you want to "disconnect" a crate. For example, I adore this mod for most items, but if I accidentally put something in the wrong new crate, there's no way to delete that crate. Another issue: Many things use weeds, and I'd like to be able to disconnect a few containers for it.
