Report a translation problem
Other option would be to move the trigger cubes for the camera closer together (and to the car) so that the camera is moving at full speed closer to the centre of the viewport, but this would make the camera animation stutter more frequently, which would really hurt the experience. Especially for VR players.
Crazy thing is, the original had an even more restrictive viewport, especially in challenge mode. You had to memorise the track layouts to have any chance!
