Why does this place feel so forboding?

Despite the fact that it feels like the answers I'm looking for are somewhere in that facility, drawing me to it, at the same time, it's like something's trying to push me away. What would want to keep me from knowing?

I suppose I only have one way to find out...

I can't tell you much due to the lore, but I can say everything save for the portal problems were intentional. Try looking about the rest of my workshop, maybe scan that room a second time.

Seems like something borked. When i got to the end room with like 6 portals, i didnt know where to go but noticed that there was a tp on the first one. But when i got into that, it looked like i was out of bounds or in a wip area.

Everything looked really good but whats with the end? Took 3-4 minutes to find the end and i didnt understand a thing
