Warrior Societies

Warrior Societies (WS) simply adds Warrior Lodges to those few religion groups that currently lacks them in Crusader Kings 2. The added Warrior Lodges functions pretty much identical to the vanilla pagan Warrior Lodges added by Holy Fury in terms of features and powers. This means that you must have Holy Fury installed for you to use this mod.

None of the added Warrior Societies are active in any start date, so under most circumstances the player will have to take up the duty to create it via decision.


Warrior Societies (WS) is not compatible with my Christian Warrior Society (CWS) mod.
So do NOT run both mods at the same time!

Though, in theory it should be possible to "convert" a save game from Christian Warrior Society to Warrior Societies by loading up the save game in the new mod with CWS disabled.

• Christian Warrior Lodge - "The Champions of Christ"
  
• Aztec Warrior Lodge - "The Knights of the Eagle" (cannot be formed until the Aztecs invade)
  
• Mazdan/Zoroastrian Warrior Lodge - "The Immortals"
  
• Eastern Warrior Lodge - "The Disciples of the Shaolin"
  
• Muslim Warrior Lodge - "The Futuwwa Brotherhood"
  
• Jewish Warrior Lodge - "Bar Kokhba's Chosen"
  
• WS Game Rules - which allows you to enable/disable the creation of any specific Warrior Society of your choosing. There's also a setting that allows you to enable the AI to create any of the Warrior Societies if the AI meets the critera for it.

Requires Holy Fury.

Should be compatible with most mods, expect for overhaul mods like After The End, CK2+ and AGOT. Mods that alters the vanilla files associated with the warrior lodges will cause issues.

Just unzip it in your CK2 mod folder in Documents.

There is no need to start a new game for this mod, just load it up and players should get the decisions to create the Warrior Societies if you meet the necessary criteria for it.

Please keep in mind that if you deactivate the mod after forming any of the societies there is a high chance that issues/crashes may occur with any affected/modded saves.

WS unfortunately alters the checksum out of necessity, so this mod is NOT achievement friendly.

If the mod won't download or update properly for you, try to subscribe to the mod while the game launcher is running, or alternatively while the game is already loaded up to the main menu.
