DESCRIPTION

This mod contains:
- Iron Man's Repulsors as a secondary weapon (you can also equip it to anyone else and pretend that they are shooting energy out of their bare hands :) )

This was intended to be used with Iron Man cosmetics (or any superhero who shoots energy out of their hands), as such the actual weapon does not have any model. It's just an invisible weapon with custom animations.

DO NOT USE AS A PRIMARY WEAPON if you have the Primary Secondaries mod active. It wont break your game, but the animation wont play, so it would just be like your character is firing an invisible pistol instead.

Stats are configurable. Base stats has the punch of a shotgun, the range of a rifle, and the unlimited ammo of a pistol. Enjoy! :)

Update 2:
- Fixed no damage bug. Repulsor should function properly now when upgraded to higher tiers.

- Added custom Sound Effects

Update 0.5:
- Aligned energy blast a little more towards the hand's center
- Fixed insufficient ammo bug (needs further testing)

TO DO:
- Align the energy blast to the center of the hand
- Compatibility with Primary Secondaries
- Custom Sounds and VFX
- Compatibility with Dual Pistols
- I might also add Captain Marvel's photon blast here. And any other kind of attack that shoots energy out of the hands. might release a separate mod for this instead

A: I am open to suggestions, but my capabilities are still very limited as there is still a lot to modding that I do not know.

Q: How to configure?
A: go to: SteamLibrary/steamapps/workshop/content/268500/1849463606/Config/XComRepulsor.ini
then edit the file as you wish

BUGS / KNOWN ISSUES:
- Not compatible with Primary Secondaries
- Animation might not play sometimes (needs further testing)
- Does not do any damage for some people

If you want a slightly more fitting icon for the weapon, copy the following lines below the previous lines in "XComTemplateEditor.ini":

The Sectoid wrist blaster fits a hand blaster better than a regular pistol, and is also unique since you don't get the Sectoid weapon normally.

If anyone's having trouble upgrading past CV (which is probably everyone, since upgrades are apparently not tied to the actual weapons", there is a possible workaround.

1) Download "[WOTC] Iridar's Template Master - Configuration".
2) Go into the Config folder and create a file called "XComTemplateEditor.ini".
3) In "XComTemplateEditor.ini", copy the following:

The animation of them holding out their hand stopped working for me.
Not they just kinda fire an invisible gun from their hip!

the mod works right .. and I practically use it with a pj iroman class, I love: D
just a small problem:
He always has the tier1 and even if he buys the tier2 or t3. in the inventory it puts t1 ..

suggestion .. to see if it would be possible for a first weapon, since I would like toni star to use this as a main weapon and a gremlin as a second one .. since it is an expert hacker.

@Valvatorez - Intruiging. I recently did a verification (a few weeks ago) but the bug only seems to have triggered in the last few days into a new game. I'll give it a go to see if that corrects it. Thanks.

Suggestion: Add a fourth pistol that can be obtained after defeating the Chosen Hunter and the research that lets you get Darkclaw.

@Scroller: That is an XCOM bug. You should get them back when you verify your game catch and start a new game.
