Humanity's First: Trappist 1 F

Description
Trappist 1 F, The planet frozen on the coasts, yet very alive in center, with 7 Uplinks waiting for you, it's going to be quite the challenge to sustain a base long term on this planet.

The Third Planet in the Humanity's First series (3/6)

Trappist 1 F, Is a planet where not much is known but, In this representation of it, The planet was hit by a large meteor and formed the ocean spanning over 50% of the planet. The water is super cold due to unknown reasons and the air is in the habitable range, leaving the coasts to be snowy and in turn no change to become fertile, though the inland parts have great land, the mountain range supplies quite the bit of resources to gather. Another problem is the size of the ice caps, They will destroy around 80-90% of the map at 99% climate collapse. Seven Uplinks are in the ocean, All of them targeting you when you land, resulting over 10% stock decrease, that's going to be the challenge here, as well the only method of getting rid of the meteors is if you have 7 meteors handy, so unless if your a money god don't expect to survive this long term. The goal is 10 CP (competition points).

Story: (This is meant to be something of a prequel to the main story, showing how Imagine Earth Ltd. had become a company by being involved with the colonization of the Trappist system in the 2050's.(Of course the devs might of have something different in mind so this could be an alternate future line)).

Dr. Zen: "We need to discuss a few things with this special planet, the most alarming or course being those structures you saw, there's 7 of them on this world luckily they're not spread out like the other planets in the system"
Dr. Zen: "I advise you stay clear from the coasts and let the competition feel threatened by these bots and in hand they think they're protecting themselves but instead it's protecting your cities!"
Dr. Zen: "As well you're in luck here, There is a mountain range that is going through the center so you'll be fine money wise."
Mrs. Diana: "Speaking of which, with you having the most impact on both planets Venus and Mars, the nations of earth has decided to transfer money for the colonization of this system, so you'll be situated with the early money problem."
Mrs. Diana: "I still suggest mining out the mountain range for resources, the money they gave you hopes for a return investment use of the planet."
Dr. Zen: "I'm sure he/she will do good with the extra money, no need to worry."
Mrs. Diana: "Prepare for the unexpected and get people in that mindset."
Dr. Zen: "Well then, We got more news for you, the ground is fertile only in the inland part, it seems when the ocean is involved on this world bad things happen."
Dr. Zen: "The water is freezing cold, and the coasts are too, another reason to stay inland."
Dr. Zen: "As for the structures, we've decided to call them Uplinks."
Dr. Zen: "All of them seem to have an open path to access the mainland and if they're smart wont block each other."
Dr. Zen: "Anyways not much else can be said about this planet, but the goal here is to expand quickly due to a very competitive planet as 4 others are fighting for it."
Mrs. Diana: "Blue Horizon, Colonizers Space Inc., Terra Launch, and the new company is seen to be with us, Nebula Industries."
Dr. Zen: "Thank goodness the atmosphere can handle a little carbon emissions"
Yourself: "Is that all there is?"
Dr. Zen: "Yes it is."
Yourself: "Well then lets get started."

Update 1.0 - Base Planet, Story, Showcase Images

These Planets are not going to be 100% realistic! Bare in mind that I want these planets to challenge people, not becoming realistic as possible

Great challenge! My 1st try failed as my main city center flooded twice. I tried to get all resources to raise the land, but not chance...before struggling further, I started again and it was promising. However, when I solved a problem, the another arose. I don´t wanna spoil my strategy, but in the end, I didn´t fight any sea level rise and tried to survive.

...I tried to be friends with everyone and let the other fight. I focused on my city, meanwhile fighting the uplinks. Finally, 2 of the others gave up. Suddenly, the pollution decreased. Unfortunately, I was forced to take over one of the left cities before my strongest competitor expanded to much. I had to restructure a lot to make this city prosper. From this point on, everything started to flow. No cash issues anymore and sea level started to drop. I expanded more and founded several new cities. I managed to destroy almost all uplinks, but then, surprisingly, my last friend gave up and immediately my strongest competitor took over this city and won instantaneously....

.... I was disappointed, because I was doing very well. Actually, only two victory pts were missing for both of us, but with this take the competitor gained those. Luckily, there was a quick save 5 minutes earlier. I respawned to this time and instead of fighting the uplinks, I tried to get the last victory points. So, was I cheating? Did I really win? Maybe, I will try once again this challenge and destroy all uplinks before the game is over. Awesome! Love it!

Can you fix this, please?

They should not.

Hello!
Should uplinks multiply? The planet starts with 7, but in a short time, they start to spawn more. In the game I'm playing, there are already 12 uplink assimilators, and probably even more will spawn.
