Punggol MRT Station, Singapore

Punggol MRT Station is an interchange station in Singapore, for both the North East Line and the Punggol LRT line. This is a combined station for a heavy rail and light rail (people mover) line. The heavy rail line (North East Line) is underground, while the light rail line (Punggol LRT Line) is above ground.

A special feature of this station is that it has a modelled underground portion. The North East line platform comes with the glass platform screen doors (sadly, it does not work). In one of the screenshot, you can see metro trains pass through the underground portion of the station.

WARNING: For some reason, the LOD does not display. I have no idea why. I did not apply any shader to the base and yet the base LOD does not show up also. Use at your own discretion, if your computer is not good at handling such high tris asset.

Instructions before use

1. You must be patient and ensure that the correct platform is selected for the elevated light rail station, using the [Shift] key with Advanced Stop Selection enabled.
2. This is designed for Metro Overhaul Mod only. Elevated platform best used with a people mover train asset.
3. For some unknown reason, LOD cannot be displayed even at low setting. Use this asset at your own discretion.
4. The underground platform is not perfectly aligned, even with my metro train assets. This is more of a proof-of-concept, so I have yet to play with the alignment of the underground platforms.
5. Commuters' legs clip with the platform due to difference in my platform height and M.O.M.'s platform height. M.O.M.'s platform height is a little too low and I can't find documentation on the specifications either to base my design.

Model information

Due to the complicated model of this station, 6 submeshes has to be used in addition to the main one. LOD is provided with custom textures.

Tris count for main model: 10205
Textures: (2048x2048) x 7
LOD tris counts: 648
Textures (LOD): (256x256) x 2, (128x128) x 1
WARNING: LOD does not display for some reason even at lowest setting. Use at your own discretion.

Special Thanks

Ronyx69, Bad-Peanut, Redditor85321 for answering my question on texturing the underground portion.

Extra

I took the liberty to redesign the arrival display signs based on the LTA design for the Downtown Line. SBS Transit's graphic designers should be a little bit ashamed of themselves with their design.

The asset seems to work fine on my computer, and I have checked it quite a few times before I set the visibility to public. There should be no major problems.

@Envibe
I'm doubt that this can get into Vanilla.
First: This is free.
Second: The Sunset Harbour DLC is already planned.
Third: Need special train, Metro to work properly. Won't and never happen in Vanilla.

@AJ Wolff use the "Touch it" mod. you can change or even delete the road with the tool

Would this asset eventually be made to work in the vanilla version with the sunset harbor DLC?

Really love this station, thank you for taking the time to make it! Though if you could do a version that didn't have the road pre-placed below, that would be perfect

It looks so good, would love to have this for train.
