I moved the contents for Rimworld 1.5.4409 back to the 1.5 folder and separated it into the 1.6.4543 folder. After checking that it's updated, try restarting the 1.5 game. Hopefully, the beam burn error will be resolved.
v1.6.3
- The 1.5 and 1.6 folders have been separated.
Thanks to Skykiller for reporting this.
If you have Steam cloud saves enabled in RimWorld, please disable them. When cloud saves are enabled, the old game settings are recalled, which may cause errors regardless of your current mod list.
To disable cloud saves:
1. Launch RimWorld
2. Reduce the mod list to just Core and DE Surgeries
3. Start a new game
4. Save immediately after starting and return to the start screen
5. Exit RimWorld
6. Right-click RimWorld in your library and open Properties
7. Disable cloud saves
Cloud saves will now be disabled.
It has been verified.
