Description
So here is my lastest Class mod The Rifleman. This was a fun little class to work on and make. The main role of the rifleman class is to rush to a position and hold it down. They excel and holding a position and providing a nice wall of bullets to any poor alien attempting to cross said line.

GTS Perks: (Warden: Grants +10 Aim on Overwatch and allows overwatch shots to do critical damage.)
(Fire Training: Gain +5 aim and +5 defense.)

Weapons:
Primary: Assault rifle, and shotguns (for those who want to feel more like a LW Assault)
Secondary: Pistol

Hunter Abilities
Squaddie: Low Profile, Run and Gun, and Total Combat

Militia Tree
Corporal: Quickdraw
Sargeant: Crippling Fire (an extremely accurate shot that disorients a foe.)
Lieutenant: Aimed Shot (Fire a special shot with your pistol with extreme accuracy, and deals extra damage.)
Captain: Lightning Hands
Major: Relocation (If you score a kill on your turn this unit will get 1 free action to move along with a small mobility boost.)
Colonel: Faceoff

Soldier Tree
Corporal: Hip Fire (As a free action fire your assault Rifle with an accuracy penalty. 3-turn cooldown.)
Sargeant: Endurance (gain +4 mobility, and +5 crit chance until the end of your turn. Free action)
Lieutenant: Killer Instinct (Activating Run & Gun grants +50% critical damage for the rest of the turn.)
Captain: CQC Specialist (During enemy turns, fire a free reaction shot with your primary weapon at any visible enemy within four tiles who moves or fires.)
Major: Double Tap (Fires a shot with a penalty of 10 to aim. If it hits, immediately fire another shot at the target. Uses 2 ammo. 3-turn cooldown.)
Colonel: Hold the Line (When in Overwatch this unit will take reaction shots on all enemies until the point that they run out of ammo or miss a shot.)

It's a nice niche class for the assault rifles early on, but wow does it go wild in the endgame. I gave mine the Arashi and he murdered the Serpent King with Hold The Line in one take, the Warlock in another mission, and took out 4 spawned in reserves (from a Riftkeeper Mk2) in one go in a third mission. Wow. Still, I like the class.

@RedScorpion520 If anything, you can always use the console command as shown below:

MakeSoldierAClass "Soldier Name" The Rifleman

Always include the quotation marks around your soldier's name when typing out the command line and make sure that the nickname is excluded.

That aside...

@Alpha115 Thank you for making this mod. Very much appreciated. I like how you can now give a ranged soldier the same ability as the Ranger's Bladestorm ability. Gotta have that extra dakka.

No, the only way original classes disappear if a mod speficially removes them. My mods never remove anything from the base game. Mainly to insure they are compatible with anything.
