Chinese Generals and Democratic China Fix (+)

This mod adds a number of Chinese Generals and Navy Admirals to the game, 8 Generals and 5 Admirals in total with one edited existing General. And is merged with my Democratic China fix.

A new game is required for the mod to work.

I started this project some month ago by request, but was unable to progress much due to time constraint. While I would like to add a summery of who these people are, how they died (if they did) and what they are most famous for, in honor of their deeds and memory, I do not have that ready at the moment due to time constraint.

The generals added are

Wang Mingzhang 王銘章
Sun Yuanliang 孫元良
Liu Xiang 劉湘
Luo Zhuoying 羅卓英
Sun Zhen 孫震
Tang En Bo 湯恩伯
Zhang Lingyan 張靈甫
Zhang Zizhong 張自忠

The Edited General is

Xue Yue 薛岳

The Navy Admirals added are

Gui Yongqing 桂永清
Li Yuxi 黎玉璽
Lin Jianzhang 林建章
Sa Shijun 薩師俊

Do not promote any of the Admirals and Generals above into advisor roles and give them a position. If you do and assign them a position as a advisor they will have a invisible portrait and you will NOT be able to remove them!

I did my best to make them balanced due to the number of generals added based on their personality and historical deeds. Of course this in the end made a few of them OP as some of these guys were Chinas most capable, and most valient to the end.

The Democratic China fix simply makes it so that, when China goes democratic. It will retain the ROC flag, keep the KMT as the leading party for democrocy, and keep Chaing as it's leader. This also in effect means you can keep using the first lady of the republic (Chaing's wife) as the advisor.


Due to the methods used, this will confilct with China's history.txt as wells as english locolization files.
