Ironman/Hardcore Mode

Description
This mod adds the option to play the campaign with limited manual saving while autosaving frequently, producing an ironman/hardcore mode. This acts similar to how saving works when playing on ledgendary difficuly, but can be enabled for any difficulty and at any time. With this mod, you can have ironman for some campaigns, and regular saving for others.

To enable ironman mode for a campaign, load/start the campaign and press the "F10" hotkey. A message will be displayed notifying you its enabled. Ironman can be disabled in the same way.

The mod will remember whether or not you have ironman mode enabled for a campaign, so no need to re-enable it after loading.

When enabled, manual saving is disabled and the game will autosave at the start and end of each turn, and before and after each battle.

It is recommended that "incremental autosaves" are disabled when using ironman mode, otherwise you will still have lots of saves to return to.

FAQ:
Q. Is this mod compatible with existing savegames?
A. Yes! Just load them up and press F10 to enable ironman mode.

Q. Pressing "F10" doesn't do anything!
A. This could be due to 2 reasons. The most likely is a mod conflict. This mod heavily relies on scripts which are difficult to make compatiable with others. CA are working on a way to make this much better, but its still in the works. The second reason may be that you have changed the hotkey used. The mod uses the "View Camera Bookmark 2" hotkey. Check your keybindings to see what key is required (default is F10).

Q. Will having this mod active but ironman mode disabled effect other saves?
A. No. Each campaign can have a different state for whether or not ironman is enabled. If ironman is disabled for a campaign, the mod will have no impact for that campaign. When you load a campaign with ironman enabled, the mod will take effect again.

Mod works as advertised, except that it makes Legendary Lords mute on the campaign map. I have to start an entirely new campaign with it disabled in order for them to talk again.

Must be some weird conflict with other mods. It wasn't like that at the beginning, when I still had only this and one other mod.

What is the point of this mod if you can enable/disable it for any campaign at any time? That means you can still savescum, only it will take more buttons to press. Am I missing here something?

I had an interesting issue just recently where the mod stopped saving my game and I couldn't turn it off to manually save either... I am playing with a bunch of other mods though so not sure if that was a compatibility issue or the mod messing up on it's own. This was a decent amount of hours into a campaign however
