Winter 2035

Description
An icon will be made to represent the mod soon.

IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO HAVE VANILLA ALTIS AND WINTER ALTIS SIDE BY SIDE AT THIS TIME

What is this?
Simply put, this modification is a re-texture mod, taking anything green, and making it white, as in snow! I decided to create something for the wintertime in Arma, thus here we are now with a new WIP mod, Winter 2035. This is the initial release, mainly completed yet will be tweaked in the future and new features added.

Features:
Integrated snow mechanic based off overcast (Modified Rain)
Winter Versions of the main Arma terrains, Altis & Stratis (Malden planned but not garunteed)
Modified lighting, clouds, and ambient sounds

Depending on the popularity of the mod, vehicles, units, and weapons will ALSO be retextured giving a more "total conversion" type feel to the mod, however at present you will need to look to other mods for winter textured equipment and vehicles.

Why there is not a "summer" and "winter" version of maps side by side

because unless i rip the wrp and rebuild the island with the source data it is not possible to have duplicate versions of the terrain, which wont be happening until arma 4 when sample files are released from arma 3 data like when arma 3 was released arma 2 sample files were released from arma 2 data

NOT to mention, i would have to debinarize and steal dozens of p3ds aswell ;)

i asked that because i was trying to change the ground textures for another map, but it seems the close ground texture is baked into a file i forgot the name, if you can point me in the direction to change the close-up texture even if via brute force, you'll have my thanks

although its been so long and i dont have any plans on touching arma modding so maybe something broke? not sure i dont play anymore xD

this mod is a brute force override for textures so it should work whenever you load the mod (using pbo prefix to override the file path to all the landscape textures ect)

Hey there! I love this mod but I seem to have found a very odd bug.

I'm using Deformer to make Oreokastro look way more sci-fi and stuff yada yada, but I've noticed that when I load Winter 2035 it just disables the Deformer mod

@stapp - I noticed this as well. However Deformer doesn't seem to be working even after removing this map. Any suggestions?

Really immersive map - well done! The snow covered roof tops and some object surfaces coupled to automated light snow falls when the weather is overcast makes this one of the more believable winter maps imo.
