To play:
Check the LW_LaserPack mod in the launcher.

This mod adds a pulsed laser tier of weaponry, situated between Magnetic and Beam (Plasma) weapons on the tech tree. They generally do one additional point of damage relative to Magentic weapons, or a 50% chance of one point of damage more for laser pistols.

The basic Pulse Laser technology requires having researched Elerium technology to unlock. Advanced Pulse Lasers requires basic Pulse Laser technology to unlock. Plasma (Beam) weapons now require Advanced Pulse Lasers technology to unlock. This will have the effect of delaying plasma tier weapons because of extra research time. ***I've kept the cost of lasers as it was in pre-WotC. With reduced magnetic and beam costs, lasers are now halfway between for resources.

This includes a Pulse Laser SMG, the Pulse Stengun, which will only be playable if you also have Long War Studios' SMG mod installed.

Someone please, please make a Strategy Overhaul Bridge for this. I want the Prototype Armory to stop throwing me errors. The Bridge builder mod instructions are terribly obtuse. There should be an detailed instruction video or something for numb-skulls like me.

I buy the pulse weapons, but they don’t show up in my inventory!
I don’t have Iridar’s Five Tier Weapon Overhaul mod.

However, I do use Weapon and Item Overhaul. Any help is much appreciated!

Hey, halfway through my first playthrough with this stuff and rummaging around in the .ini, wondering how and when this laser sword, psiamp, gremlin, and grenade launcher come in? Is that the "Plasma (Beam) weapons" you mentioned?

If the laser weapons are not showing up in inventory, you likely have one of iridar or someone else`s laser mod conflicting.

Can this be used with Coilguns for War of the Chosen mod to create 2 extra tiers, eg Mag > Laser > Coil > Plasma? If so how would you set that up so that Laser research unlocks Coil, and Coil unlocks Plasma tier?

Okay so the pulse rifle's particle effects are messed up, shoots a little tiny laser instead the actual laser, and the pulse cannon's firing sound is gone. Are there any planned fixes for these issues?

@RAAAWRY! I have used this mod for over a year + and had no issues. The weapons show up when reached and built. If you are experiencing an issue, then it must be due to a mod conflict or some other variable. Stating that you shouldn't install this mod, which is required for other mods btw, isn't extremely helpful.
