Soviet Storm: WWII in the East Soundtrack

This music mod for Hoi4 will add the soundtrack of the excellent WWII documentary "Soviet Storm: WWII in the East" by Starmedia into the game. The music was composed by Boris Kukoba and I highly recommend to check out every episode of the documentary, which is 18 episodes long.




There are in total 35 new music tracks, which are all adjusted to be played during war and/or peace and will mostly play for communist nations. The vanilla OSTs are of course still in, but will not play often when playing as a communist nation.




This mod is compatible with EVERYTHING, even other music mods. Every file is independent from the main game.

Ironman and achievements should work without any issues.

This mod was updated for 1.7.* last but still should be compatible with past and future versions.

Please note that "Weighted Shuffle" has to be enabled to restrict certain songs for certain idelogies and the current war/peace situation. It's activated by default and its icon shows a music note and a flag.



If you don't want certain songs to play, there's always the possibility to deactivate them with a red "x" . Since all songs are more or less restricted to communism and because playing as a fascist, democratic or a neutral nation will not fit the OST, the game will then mostly play vanilla songs for you if playing as a non-communist nation.

I do know that there was another Soviet Storm music mod already uploaded, however it wasn't updated in a year and had no localisation/weighing.




Now the fascists will never enter the motherland!
