But to answer your question @Haart - I have seen the game now, played the maps (some of them multiple times), I know the story. I don't really need the notes any more to tell me the lore. Plus they can often pop up at awkward times when you forget they are there and run over them, or when you're defending yourself from wild dinos and get knocked back over the top of one. There's a few of them that I don't particularly like to read too. So it'd be nice to have the option to turn them off if we chose, and play the game uninterrupted by their distraction.
