the ai doesnt know how to deal with revolts and public order, it wasn't designed that way, this mod essentially breaks the ai and the intended challenge of the game.

my experience is this makes the game playable at all, the AI loses provinces to revolts while remaining a serious threat.

new faction emerging almost every other turn and no ai expanding, makes it pretty easy imo

kinda silly because the AI doesn't account for rebellions, with buildings or garrisons. I watched an AI hattori capture Omi and the very next turn just move their army out and then lose it to rebellion. Good mod but breaks the ai because the ai is dumb.

@DonuteatermaN The mod only alters db files in campaign_difficulty_handicap_effects. There's no audio files or alteration of tables that affect them. If you have a mod that changes unit_stats_land or unit_tables then that's probably causing the sound bug. Use Sinfonia Semplica to fix that.

Needs update - keeps crashing the game on load, all other mods load fine ingame and this is the only one thats crashing it so please fix!

By "Effect reduced -50" do you mean 50% or 50 points?

Because occupation resistance, like, hovers under 20 for most of the game

It's not working! I edited the .pack file for Hard+Legendary with 0 value as Easy and Normal, but AI still got no resistance, both in save game and new game.

Just a heads up. This mod now conflicts with the double farm values. It used to work with it, but for whatever reason it suddenly stopped.

restitance can be annoying like in total war rome. Also note that Japan didn't have revolts because there was no non japanese power that ever invaded japan.

No, this make the populace angry when the AI invade.
In another words, usually AI can cheat as they don't have to get "Resistance to Invaders" effect for several turns after Occupation, unlike Human Players.

After playing some in a campaign with this mod I'm convinced the AI doesn't know how to handle severe unhappiness and was probably never intended to. After taking a settlement they barge ahead to the next province with their full army leaving an empty fort with angryface behind. :P

The problem with this mod is that on normal the AI is still way too docile. Hard makes the AI really aggressive but they wont have the crazy resouces to just throw waves of armies at you from all sides without the bonuses

@mrose I think you're referring to your comment on my other mod? Did you mean that one or this? Because in the context of the No Handicap mod, it doesn't make any sense to remove them for Hard mode; if you want No Handicap, you can just install the mod and play Normal.
