Sorry for not giving back an update on my end.
Steam might automatically download the good version and get you running again automatically, in which case you don't have to do anything.
But.... most likely you will need to do something like this:
1. shut down Skyrim
2. unsubscribe to this mod
3. find your Skyrim\Data folder in Windows Explorer
4. delete all files named UnreadBooksGlow.*
5. re-subscribe to this mod
6. start Skyrim again
7. Click on "Data Files" in the launcher and make sure "Unread Books Glow" has a checkmark
