Interesting, are you in the beta build for next patch? I ahven't applied to it yet, it could be that changes the idle.

I'm in the middle of a move to a new house this month. After I get to my new place I'll start trying it out. My goal is to have a new PC Rig two months from now, working on this will keep me motivated. Will keep you and the other mod author informed when I start making changes.

shoulsn't "we" be able to change the name in the files? that should be all we need. i once copied holy water, colored it blue in ps, added healing, then just canged holy to healing and the mod worked.

I can see why you would wait, but I would not want to keep you waiting if you are eager to do it. IF I put out rework, it won't be anything big, so adding the changes shouldn't be too hard. I might have time now, but maybe not in next week, or months, I can never tell. It's up to you tough.

I can wait till after a patch release. I'm in no rush, just came back to this game after seeing new DLC was added. I can do corrections in PS no problem and create animations loops in AE if need be. After your release I'll let you both know when I start diving in.

Your mods got me motivated. Keep on keeping on.

Ah, yes, that could be possible I think. If the author of Korgi mod left the Houndmaster un-touched, and just edited the doggie, you just need to do some simple edits in any picture editing program combining them. There might be some shadow issues tough, since Korgi covers less of the body of Zoltan, might need a little bit work.

Thing Zoltan is, I know I have told this numerous times after release, and haven't done it yet, but I have on my to do list to rework him, just a heads up. Right now I'm very close finishing a new skin, so I'm putting all the time I have doing that, but after that Zoltan rework might be a thing, I think I have already done some work towards that.

But yeah, combining them probably would not be a problem, but making these two mods together, probably won't be so easy.

100% I do not know. I just stumbled on it the other day and they just feel so meant for each other. The Korgi-Mod artist just said this "it would be possible to change the master to zoltan in corgi skins"

So I'm going to dig into the files a bit and see what I can learn. It could just be the time consuming part of correcting his Corgi animations to your Zoltan visuals. I'll keep you both in touch.

Since it is incompatible with other HM skins, I assume it changes the class. Probably skeleton, but I haven't checked it out. (Does it replace normal HM?)

Unfortunatelly if that is the case, I don't think much can be done about it, all skins in class share skeletons and animations, and skill effects, and the like.

But my knowledge about actually modding the game is almost non existant, I have just done some visual stuff, not actual modding, so I'm just guessing that mod changes the class. You could ask around from people who are more experienced with DD.

What can we do to help make this compatible with other mods?

I am willing to practice my programming to have Zoltan Chivay with a Corgi. I got a over a decade of time with adobe programs and work flows (CC pro). I can clean up, manipulate, edit the sprites in PS, AE, Pr if need be. I know that can be time consuming.

I re-installed windows recently, I'm still slowly installing stuff back in, I don't have DD installed yet, so I'm not up to date with the updates.

Planned, yes.

Just have been very busy with work lately, and the time I have had to mess around video-games, I have been playing BloodBowl 2.

But I will try to find time to work on these skins, I have 5 more under works before I just didn't find enough time to work on them, and I have partially fixed some issues with the old mods I have uploaded, I just need to find the time to really commit to finishing stuff.

I don't think so. I have been switching skin mods on and off in my saves, haven't had any problems so far.

You might wanna double check that, but from my experience, skins should not mess with your save.

Yennefer was actually the very first skin I started making, for Occultist, but as I got to the part of making the anim files, I realized the character I had created would never work with them. So Yen is still in works, but I have to re-design her. In generall I do read all suggestions, but I won't be making any promises about anything, I work on few skins at a time, try what works and where, and once something clicks together nicelly, I'll put it out.

Main thing will be picking a class, that fits the character in terms of their animation files.

If you look at Actionjack's Good Girl mod it's possible to make the hounde without the houndmaster. It probably isn't possible to make the houndmaster without the hound because, when the inviisble dog stands inf ront of his legs, it's likely to cause major problems because it won't just be see through at that point.

Probably no, sorry. It would be relativelly easy to remove the hound, it is separate from the character in most cases, but you would have to make the skin behind the dog.

If your ok with the character without doing the skin edits, I suggest downloading GIMP, going thru the files, and erasing the dog from them, that should do the trick, no further edits needed, unless you want to go and edit the fx too. Not sure how the characters skin will look "behind" the dog tough.

Can you made a houndmaster skin without a hound? I personally :madskull:hate:madskull: all the dogs, but this class seems usefull in some locations.

Ok. An alternative option would be a hammer, but the mod is great nonetheless.
