"events and province developments"... I tagged Brasil to look for an event but did not see any, perhaps a hidden one. I converted to protestant after forming Brasil and most of their provinces were still catholic, i was thinking that could give LD, but then i saw other posts about same problem. I don't know...

@itstricky - this mod actually reduces liberty desire and keeps it artificially low until the age of revolutions (historical balancing). So I am surprised to hear that. What modifiers are giving LD?

@CharlesBarkleyWaifu - What issues are you having? Which events are missing? Portugal does not expand as historically unless historical wars is enabled, since most of their colonization was conquests.

Playing as Holland and Dutch Brazil got 200 liberty desire. I disabled the mod and noticed liberty desire stopped adding up. Is it something i can fix with Mod Options?

I think some of the colonial events are broken, specifically the ones about AI Portugal expanding in the east Indies.

Hi Jonolsson! Congrats on working for paradox! Hopefully you'll bring some great flavor to Project Ceaser :D

By any chance have you had to look at the American Colonies bug i detailed below on Jan 28, 2024? I've put my campaigns on hold since I'd much prefer 2.6 vs 3.0 for now. Seems like EU5 will bring much loved immersion / flavor inherently to the game so wishing for a port then LOL

Abou the 1492 startdate, there unfinished things yet? Like historical alliances, wars, population numbers, buildings, etc?

@calvin - what year is it? The mothertrade does not trigger until the 16th century. Once the feature is enabled, you can sail with a trade ship to 4 different ports in the baltics, Riga, Gotland, Gdansk and one more I cannot remember. It should all be explained in the feature selection page, or using one of the decisions available to the Dutch that explains it.

The feature essentially allows you to buy wares in the baltics and stockpile it in Amsterdam, and these goods can then be sold during exceptionally cold years

@jonolsson hey im palying with this submod. Im playing as the netherlands and Im trying to play the baltic trade moederngotio. the event says that i have to go to the baltic with a fleet of trade sheeps. I do that but nothing happens. I have tried too to put them on a protecting trade mission but same nothing happens. I can't figure out how the trade works xd

@noweyjosay - thank you for reporting, I will look into it and try to release a hotfix
@KsH - you may get a lot of events which trigger at the same time, but other than that the setup is dynamic so technically you could enable features when you feel like it.

fyi event "Historical_Wars_event.1320" doesn't work. I proceed to give thirteen colonies full admin rights but nothing happens. Additionally, the event keeps spamming every month even though I keep trying to give them the colonies.

It will not be updated to 2.6 unfortunately. It would require a rewrite of almost the entire mod, which I do not have the patience or interest to do sadly. I also don't play 3.0.

- Mirks - My mod is a complament to M&T, so it should not override any of their events. You can start from 1356, but there are no events in this mod prior to 1492. General features of the mod will work though with any bookmark.

The Dutch war of independence can happen regardless of start date. If you play with historical wars then it is very likely to happen, otherwise it is more random.

@midoriya93 - If you take a look at the unique country features above then I would say that those are the countries I recommend starting with for that unique experience. I have tried to make it so that each of those countries presents a different gameplay experience. I would probably start with Portugal or the Netherlands.

Textlines from 17934 to 17968. I also used submod GSG and taxes with Historical immersion compatibility submod and according to author of this mod the main reason of my crashes were his mod, not yours, but error is still there and im not sure how critical is it. I also could send you my error log file if you need it.

The game crashes for me in 3rd of january 1525. I asked for help on M&T discord and people there told me that according to logs problem is in your mod, exactly in 16th century events file. There are "Corrupt Event Table Entry" messages in the error log. Which happens if you forget to close the parentheses.

@jaredpailing - if you want historical Elisabeth then you need to follow a historical path, meaning First Mary, then Elisabeth. Elisabeth is given as an heir once Henry VIII dies and Mary takes the throne. There are no force convert events in the mod anymore as I revamped historical religions in a previous release to make it more realistic. You now need to pass the act of supremacy in order to convert. There are however several events during the reign of Mary and Elisabeth that affects the province religions.

@Frotzy - I have no plans to update this mod to 3.0. I am not playing the new version either. It is simply too much work and there is little motivation to revamp the entire mod to suit a modification I dont play.
