I like this mod - but its been a while since it was updated. May I have permission to modify this mod? I will give full credit to you as the initial creator and if you like always include a link back to this mod. :)

Shame you didnt keep this updated you could ov made it into unremovable civc that gives you and only you this tec but make it so it blocks off the normal Wh tec

So I think the new 2.0 Wormholes got this covered pretty much. Good job and thanks Paradox! Also I am now modding again, something completlely different. A whole nother game mode! But let's see how it works out..

I will continue playing Stellaris again with the Cherryh Update. There will be wormholes, so I will have to see if there is any reason for an update of this mod. For the current versions it should work fine, just ignore the warning.

you need to spiral them around the black whole then tell them to orbit it, from what I remember at least

Not all black holes will be able to be used. Yeah I know it's a little tricky to get them in especially science ships. I usually click on the name to try and get the ship to go through and get the pop up message.

Maybe I just got lucky and people are correct that it's not working properly. For that, I appologize then for doubting. I just thought some worked, some don't, and some are one way. Maybe I a wrong and playing it bugged which I thought was normal.

just saying, when mods are outdated they can screw up primary game file or whole bits of the modas coding can disappear, im just saying that this is why they want it to be updated, it can also horrible lag some people, trust me, I know from when i used like 755 outdated mods on this one game

there should be a danger that if a ship moves into a black hole it will be destroyed. but otherwise good mod!

I just change the name of the connecting Black Holes to show which ones are connected to each other, such as one pair having "Name of black hole (001A)", it's connection having "Name of black hole (001B), another pair having "Name of black hole (002A)" and "Name of black hole (002B)" and so on.

@XBagon - Just an idea, I'm currently adding the name of the target black hole (in brackets) to those BH's that are in my own territory. This I could use the search tool in-game. Probably this would be an easy first way for your mod to show the known connections if it isn't possible to draw lines on the map atm?

It doesn't work for me. I'm using hyperlane ftl. Entering into orbit doesn't do anything (has the tech)

@dupmeister No engine needed, you research it, you are able to use wormholes. Just steer your ship into the wormhole...or order them to orbit (for workships).

@XBagon / Eisvisage
So far I recognized 2 different kinds of wormholes. No idea why this is that way. One is with nameplate, the other without. Mostly those without nameplate, if I remember right, cause it that I need more than one attempt to use it. In most cases it is sufficient to order the ship some parsecs away, at least into a neighboring system, then start another wormhole attempt.

Great experience I would not miss in future games. A visible connection between already traveled wormholes would be appreciated.

BTW, is it possible, that SGM Supply Lines mod prevents fleets from using wormhole travel? My best guess is, that one orders the fleet to use the wormhole, but the supporting supply fleet is attached toward the fleet, so it won't work.

If yes, is it possible to get a patch for it?

so I made a new game and it notified me that I had researched the technology. What do I have to do to activate this in game, Do I need to upgrade my ships to include a certain tech? Because when I fly my science ship up to a black hole right now, nothing happens, it has been explored and yet when I click on it, nothing seems to happen.

To add to Kepos' experiences: I have a single black hole in my space. It only worked one out of 4 times, and the ship that's at the other hole cannot travel back anymore. The one time it worked, my construction ship was working on a station around the black hole 'cause of some nice physics.

Found a Two Galaxies Mod which should work fine with your Wormhole Travelling. :steamhappy:
At current 2 galaxies are static, but looking forward to free generation once.
