A Problem I encounter is the -200 population doesn't stick once its custom fraction it don't stick

Funktionirt leider auch nicht...bzw alles funktioniert ausser das man mehr als 8 eigenschaften auswählen kann...

The population points aspect doesn't work. Upon selecting a political policy, it does provide the 200 points credit, however after saving the custom faction it then says that the faction is invalid. When you go back to edit the custom faction, it shows the population points as being over the 60-point limit (the 200 point credit is no longer applied). You can "fix" the faction and save again, but the faction is then invalid again.

Hi, thanks for making this mod,

but for some reason i couldn't find how to max the pop point from 60 to 200? how do i do it?

"By selecting another policy direction, you will be credited with 200 population points. This gives you the greatest possible scope for distributing your racial characteristics." Where exactly do i select this "another policy direction"?

When I attempt to load this mod up the main menu buttons do not appear after the mod loading screen. Is this mod not compatible with the latest version of ES2 or am i just getting an odd bug?

I am interested in creating an experimental faction that uses all of the advantageous traits, then playing the game on a very difficult setting. I was able to modify the permitted number of traits <FactionTraitsMaxCount> but an unable to modify the permitted point total for all the traits (I'd need about 900 points total). Any suggestions?

yeah me too even looking at the pictures shows negatives so does this mod provide extra trait points or not?

@Kaago If you put a "Registry.xml" file in the same folder as the "UltimateCustomFaction.xml" and put the following code in it, it will solve the issue with the number of traits and the issue with population traits.

kannst du deinen mod aktualisieren ? Seit neuem ist es so das man nur 8 Merkmale vergebenkann egal wie viel sie kosten an punkten. Könntest du einen mod updaten?

scripte beim update nen count brecher mit rein, dann macht dein mod auch wieder sinn, oder lösch das raus aus dem Workshop, nur ärger mit diesem scheiss spiel

I don't know how to create a mod but I found a way to do so manually.

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Endless Space 2\Public\Registry.xml

Edit here <FactionTraitsMaxCount>8</FactionTraitsMaxCount>

The update made a limit to how many TRAITS you can have, not necessarily trait points.

When I try to use this, and create faction with overage population points via the -200 Ecologists, or whatever, it allows creation of the custom race.

However, once created, at the race selection screen, the race is then unchoosable, listing an invalid flag due to 75/60 pop points.

It stands alone, it has only reduced to the core features of "SandboxMod", the mod also provides you with more population points and is also available for the German community in German.
