They're not buried, they're in your save folder, and they save the last 5 logs created. The most recent one is named "starbouund.log". Take that to the forum and someone might be able to help you.

Azure Fang  [author] Aug 23, 2019 @ 10:25am
@sir derps
Probably. It's a vanilla recipe.
Matimaruu Aug 23, 2019 @ 10:13am
is it possible to just get it by entering the craftbench with admin?
Azure Fang  [author] Jul 12, 2019 @ 6:09pm
@Star-X
You don't really need my permission for that. The beam drill is a vanilla weapon.

Have at it. And thanks for all of the "Ever" mods :squirtyay:

REPOST: Cleaned up codeblock. I hate Steam comments.

Question, can I make a version that goes with my InstaUrsa mod, for people starting new characters in a universe that has all completion flags set?

Currently the drill only shows up after getting past the Glitch mission, which if your character is a fresh one with optional story or whatever, means you have to get it the hard way. A "patched" version that simply moves it to the normal tier 1 item list for Ursa Miner would fix this.
Seabornebook Jun 15, 2018 @ 11:12am
Ah thanks
Azure Fang  [author] Jun 15, 2018 @ 6:44am
@Seabornebook
They require completion of one of the Glitch artifact quest to appear in the shop. If you're not that far in the story, or if you have a bugged universe state due to multiplayer, it won't appear.
Seabornebook Jun 15, 2018 @ 6:13am
Really? I couldn’t see it in the Ursa mining shop
Azure Fang  [author] Jun 2, 2018 @ 5:37pm
@Seabornebook
Upgrade it how? It still works.
Seabornebook Jun 2, 2018 @ 11:06am
Hey can you update this mod soon? It's really cool and would make mech minning way easier.
Rex Jul 14, 2017 @ 3:52am
Alright thanks! I just always check back with various mod owners because not all of them focus on compatibility as much as you.
Azure Fang  [author] Jul 14, 2017 @ 3:35am
@LurchingRex0667
It should not be incompatible with anything. Created using "add, bottom of list" notation, so this mod cannot cause conflicts itself.

As to support, there's nothing TO support - it's literally 3 lines of non-conflicting code. This will remain functional on its own through patches unless CF changes the internal name of the drill or to how the merchants in the Outpost are represented (in other words, a total overhaul).
Rex Jul 14, 2017 @ 1:57am
Thanks in advance!
Rex Jul 14, 2017 @ 1:56am
I'm trying to clean out my mod stocks, so do you know if this mod does or would conflict with anything? I'm also curious as to if you'll continue support for this or not
Azure Fang  [author] Jul 9, 2017 @ 12:03pm
@Nuker1110
No, not at all. If you start a thread on the discussion group with your starbound.log, I'll be happy to help you troubleshoot, though.
Nuker1110 Jul 9, 2017 @ 12:01pm
Does this change anything with the beam drill animations? I'm getting crashes, and this is the only mod that should be messing with it at all.
Chaos Jul 6, 2017 @ 2:54am
I. Love. This! So much grinding can now be skipped on my new Glitch. I also agree, 28k pixels is resonable. I mean, a hoverbike is 14k (ish) and the beamdrill is waaay more useful.......well, lucrative maybe. I made 20k in just over an hour with the regular drill and a refinery (and some help from RNGesus).
Elevas Sunchild Jun 19, 2017 @ 5:00am
Having Ursa Mining company sell the recipe was a brilliant idea.

The game's vanilla assets give mech part blueprints an unnecessarily low pixel value, and Ursa is the only vanilla vendor I know of that multiplies the cost of its goods by 10. It gives you that price of 28,000 pixels which, I completely agree, is an appropriate price. The thematic link to mining must have been a very enjoyable coincidence. :)

Solid mod on every level. Subscribing. :D

Yeah I agree there should be multiple tiers of mining/utility arms, it would be a welcome edition, keep up the good work my dude.
Azure Fang  [author] Jun 18, 2017 @ 9:39am
@The 3rd Type
I'm actually hoping to create a mod with a few more drill tipes to fill the gap between the existing stages of "level suck" and "god", but have a few other projects I'm working on. The new drills will be a separate mod from this, though.

Otherwise, thanks for the information and glad you enjoy it.
The 3rd Type Jun 18, 2017 @ 9:36am
Dont worry I went ahead and tested it for ye, its gotta be installed by the server, otherwise you can only buy the schemtics in your own SP Universe.

So serverside. Gud mod though, this blueprint has been eluding me 5ever
Azure Fang  [author] Jun 18, 2017 @ 8:51am
@The 3rd Type
To be perfectly honest, I still do not understand entirely what makes a mod client- or server-side. So I'm afraid I cannot answer that.
The 3rd Type Jun 18, 2017 @ 5:22am
is this client side or server side? Just wanted to know to add it to my server collection or not. Great mod either way.
