i have no ideer how it works of it its even possible, we used to have a potions mod on my servers that claimed to do it, never really worked thou... and its not being updatet because he lost the source codes.

But Dino Storage v2 have the "you can not pokeball this dino for this long after it have taken damage" suppose that functionality could give the same effect? in short, keep people from using it during combat since that more or less gives you immortal dinos :P

I didn't know that it's ever possible to deny consuming anything during combat.

can these be used during combat? if yes, is it possible to change that?

- Added INI setting to allow you to change the potions to however you want.
- Potions bypass default Ark healing mechanics so the bug where they don't work is fixed.

An empty inventory isn't a guarantee it is working, from my experience. All my Dino's I've tried it had an empty inventory, but not always there's a success.

Okay so, from testing it seems most consitantly the potion works if you pick your creature into a cryopod then release it. Then you use the potion while his invetory is empty.

I think to definitively rule out the food buff you'd need to hope on the dino and check whether the buff itself appears in the UI.

Perhaps it's a bit other than a food buff. On TheIsland with my very special server settings (tamed Dinos don't need really much food so you can bear even a large tamed group over weeks without the need to worry about starving) I've also encountered insta-healing isn't always possible. I didn't explicitely looked at the food meter, but I consider a relation between a (nearly) full food bar and a failure of healing.

Some of the Primal Fear mod folks found that some of their consumables don't work if the dino you're trying to apply them to has the food buff on them (the one with the steak symbol and green arrow they get from eating). That may be the culprit for inconsistent functioning of these potions. The Primal Fear mod author is apparently working on a fix for it so they might be able to share knowledge on how to fix it, if the food buff really is the cause.

My experience has been the same as Hexdragon's. Love the mod, been using it for some time now, sad to see it not working at the moment.

Yeah I've been meaning to bypass the default ark healing mechanic.

It behaves very weird, maybe it is related to inventory space, it almost always works after dino health level up, and sometimes when the inventory is empty. It's not consistent at all.

Correction, sometimes it works, but not on all creatures, I canot figure it out when it works

Since last patch it works again... some ark spagetti have been fixed.

One question:
Gigas drain torpor very much, so using a sleeping pill helps a lot with torpor drain. How about using 3 pills at the same time?

Does the torpor stack, so they deal three times more torpor of the same time like one pill?

Or do they deal the same torpor over time, but three times longer?

Darn, I was hoping to add today, but thanks for the quick response! Your mod's are awesome darklore, please keep it up! The wyvern nest one is one of my favorites since scorched earth plus has broken.... I look forward to when this is fixed, this appears to be the healing solution that I need.

As far as I know this is a vanilla bug. Currently, there wasn't an update from this mod so far.

Just adding to the issue. Apparently the health potions work on baby dinos but not the adult ones. We've tried restarting and it still doesnt heal.

An Ark update broke modded consumables, restarting the server makes them work again. I'm hoping they fix it soon, or I may just bypass the native healing system.

It does. A restart of the dedicated server and/or client will help. Sometimes, I can't heal anyone. Another time, I can heal two at once.

Hopefully wildcard will fix it soon, or at least update the devkit so we can fix it.

It's still not working for me. I don't know how I'm going to heal my army. It will take way too long to feed them meat to heal.

it's a known wildcard issue that most people can;t get around since even PF and other heal mods don;t work its related to buffs, only mod that works for now is wrnq consumables

After a server restart, I could heal the other Titano as well. Also, I could heal a second Titano without problems. I don't know what the problem was, perhaps an ARK hick-up or something. So, sorry for any inconvenience.

For me, it is still working, even after the Halloween Update, but something is odd, anyway. I have tamed two Titanos at the same time, brought them home, gave them levels. The first was healed by the Ascendant Healing Potion with ease, but the other Titano doesn't become healed. I already gave her 3 times the potion, no effect. Perhaps after a server restart it will work on the other Titano.

yeah I noticed this stopped working after the Halloween update, hope you can look at it, been using this mod for as long as i remember playing ark!

Wow. This mod is awesome. I just healed my modded Titanosaur with 4 billions of HP nearly instandly with the Ascendant Healing Potion! HP before was...not mentionable. Thanks!
