cant join teams

Is this still working?

Ran the last version on a private server for one hour, my friend and I couldn't hire each other for jobs and i couldn't complete the first job the tried : i had to put some loot in a drop off area, i managed to grab the loot but there was no way to drop it off. Sad, because this sandbox scenario seemed to be really nice.

Can't drop off create after pickup.

Sadly it isnt working at all ....maybe ArmaA Update .....Leader Missions are all previously done at the beginning it says,Personal Missions are not able to get into the Cache ,AirTaxi is not working when entered as Passenger and so on......sadly not playable

Anyone know any offline mods with missions like these?

Well i got a the crate from the mission, went too drop it off, and no further instructions when i got too crate, So cancelled that mission, Then it wouldnt let me take any more ? looks good if it worked :)

How can I reset the mission progress? I cant talk to the mission givers and so I want to reset everything and try it completely fresh to see if that fixes things.

what would i need to do in order to access the mod files?

For some reason when I play with my friend, the leaders keep telling me that all their missions are already done and only my friend can get missions. After doing the missions only my friend got the money. Also all the equipment boxes were empty for me. I was the host and had the mod for host.

@tehswordninja If you change vanilla item/itemboxes/vehicles etc in the mod files to rhs items, you can!

would absolutely love a version that uses rhs weapons instead of vanilla

we spawned in on a glitched start with the taxi not working (the driver got out and wouldnt get back in and when he did his "friend" didnt so he drove really slow like 1 pixel per second so we drove to the old man and it wouldnt work eaither and so we tried to restart, wouldnt let us, so we un subscribed and re subscribed this mod and it still didnt work

does this work with vcom AI?

I haven't looked into it completely yet, but,
I have to host this on a different computer to even be able to play it by myself.

The mission leaders repeat 2 lines and always say there's no work, and the enemy AI pretends I (as the host) am not here unless I enable VCOM/LAMBS.

(when someone else connects)If I connect on a different computer there's always missions available and the AI comes from all over the island to kick (their/)my ass, quite literally.


Also, I noticed civilian AI spawns in cities all over the map, even if there's no players around for miles I know civ AI doesn't do much except for standing around, but, I'm pretty sure with Arma's marvelous technology even that is quite a strain on the server.

Hey! I did everything like you wrote. Subbed to this mission, subbed and enabled HG264bit in launcher(everything was done in steam), did not alt-tab and still I could not take any story missions. Tried it with and without other mods. Unsubbed and resubbed to both scenario and mod. Still nothing. Personal missions worked fine.

"Hire/Get Hired" button seems to do the same thing as "talk to", when speaking to anyone who gives story missions. They just say same two lines over and over. Some message flashes in the top right corner every time I talk to a faction leader just before "save complete" pops up and stays. Maybe it says something important, but it's too fast for me to read.

Also personal missions do not add any money (i do not know, if this is intended or not).

It seems to be a common problem for a lot of us trying to play this mission.

If you need any additional info from me, i'll gladly provide it to you. Our group really wants to play this mission :)

talked to all the contacts, they won't give me any missions. keep saying they don't hire anyone

what to do?

i cannot take missions from any of the contacts. everytime i talk to them or use the hire/get hired from the action menu they repeat the same line of dialouge. personal quests also dont seem to work as both a cash and special weapons mission gave me nothing. (i am using hg264bit cba3 remove stamina and no grass mod)

Did you take a missions from the Leaders, then hire your team using the interaction tool?

Yes, point at the person and press U and then choose to invite to the mission. In fact, the joke is that there is no button to invite, there is a button to cancel the mission or leave the group, but there is no entry.

Please can I ask if you followed the How To Use section above?

the mission does not work, it is impossible to join a squad with a friend + gives the host a maximum of 15 fps.

Hey! I have a problem, i dont see the option of request/offer a job. I cant make teams couse the game tells me that someone wish to join my team but i dont know how to accept. And the same with the leaders, i cant request jobs. Can someone help?? Thx

Hi Nephilim666, I have added a How To Use section above. I believe this should get around the issues. This project became too large for me to manage. There are some bugs which I could not weed out. But the approach in the How To Use section has always worked for me.

Looks like the author has abandonned his project. The issues with jobs are unattended since release. Even when playing alone, I am obviously not the team leader to pick up mission loot within a personal mission... strange and sad because that mod would have been a different brew.

I'm having the same issues as others here, cannot take missions from any of the leaders and I cannot make money. I can undertake personal missions, but they do not provide rewards. I am the host and I am running the needed mode for this.

Thank you for your work, but I am also experiencing issues:

1. Can not take missions from the old man.
2. The Old man's voice volume is extremely low.

I like the mission but i have a few questions:
1. Do you know why im not able to take missions from the old man? One of my friends is the only one who get a mission from him.
2. Is there a possibility to call a taxi?
3. If i want to use your mission on a dedicated server, do i need to take care of something specific for this mission?
4. 10 Headless clients? Are they all necessary? If so, do i need 10 single servers or single instances of the headless clients. (Sry I dont know much about the headless client, whats the advantage?)

I have noticed this error when mixing the mod/mission files from different sources, e.g. mod from Armaholic, mission from Steam. Is this what has happened here?

Just as a clarification - I can talk to the leaders but they state that they don't have missions for all players.

Yes - As the host, I was running the mod while the others were not.

Please can I confirm you were running the mod when you tried this?

Leader AI missions aren't given for some reason - Everything else seems to work fine

I cant get missions from any of the leader ai. Personal missions can be accepted but loot cant be dropped at cache.

Hey CHINOX, please restart game and give it another try. I have just updated it with a fix.
Also, do not alt-tab or shift-tab or otherwise back out of the game while loading, and make sure the mod is running.

Hey Merthlees, thanks for making this; it looks great! however I have a couple questions: is it normal that the Old Man has all missions completed at the start of the game and that the crates in the airport and close to the Old Man place are empty ? I havent really looked anywhere else yet in case this is a bug on my side

First mission I tried went to slaver guy, told me to wipe out some guys nearby at this rocky hill but the last enemy I had to kill was spawned inside a rock, couldn't complete

If one person starts a mission, then invites another using this system, the other person should be able to join?
