I have plans to udpdate everything to 1.0
This mod project is a fairly large under taking however, some time will be needed. I've also got my own life to deal with so that's just more delays.

I made these mods mostly for myself though, and I still play LOTS of Rimworld, so I'll get around to it in time.

I'm not updating anything until after 1.0 has been released and the mod update storm settles down. This mod series dominated my life very quickly with how fast people where updating their mods.
Use Techmago's Orassan Rimsenal mash up mod instead. It nerfs the orassans by replacing their weapons with ones from Rimsenal.

The data I gathered showed that Rimsenal is one of the most balanced mods to exist when compared to vanilla, so I highly recommend grabbing it if you don't already have it.

Maby make it so the Orassan faction on the planet has Spacer level teck so that they are still pretty powerful.

Any way you could make a compatability mod that just removes the Orassan gear from the game? Like you i love the mod but it would be nice to go with just vanilla stuff while still having the Orassan character moddles.

Yeah, it's pretty bad. Even with weapon nerfs there's a huge range of overpowered stuff in the Orassan mod.

Speaking of which, I fudged some math and need to nerf the Orassans a tiny bit, they are slightly stronger than I intended.

When I get around to fixing this, I'm also going to address the cost/resource issues Orassans have, as a complete overhaul of the gryogenic launcher to make it less blatantly cheaty.

From the way the vanilla Orassans were 'balanced', it makes the species come across as if the creator has an Orassan fursona who is practically a god. Some of the actual 'cheat weapon' mods aren't even as OP as these guys.

thanks to guys like you to repair that then. An Orassan sniper with 50 damage but shooting way faster than classic sniper *IS* OP. Same for that rifle shooting a burst of 10 bullet but *in same time*, almost one shooting everything, regardless of shooter's aiming skill...
Gotta smelt the cryogenic guns and kill every holder of that gun then :D anti-cryogenic crusade !

I've tried changing the cryogenic launchers damage def and it didn't work for provoking hostility. I'm starting to think there's some coding somewhere in the Orassan mods that specify it's not a hostile action. The mod author hasn't responded, and has shown a disposition toward OP/cheaty weapons/items anyway.

thanks for this nerf, I love orassan mod but seriously, their weapons were breaking my game. all weapons were way too fast, powerful and shot too many bullet.
For the cryogenic launcher, maybe if you force a mix of fire/ice damage, it would act as the fireball launcher and declare hostility if used on caravan. Without removing the frostbite/creepling damage and without adding fires at nearby trees. High temperature below 0°C inflicts burn injury anyways, so it wouldn't alterate too much the principle of that weapon... don't know if that's possible. anyways, thanks.
