Hello, I'd like to know if you'd give us permission to use the Kirhos from your mod here for a fork of Frackin' Universe, since they are part FU.

We will, of course, properly credit the assets, should you give us permission to use them.

I keep feeling like I need to make a spiritual successor to the Khiros. It'd be easier for me to have free reign over every facet and not have try to go off the creators original vision.

@ fimose elastica Unfortunately no, i was going to try but I don't know how to implement villages/dungeons and I don't know enough about their culture to build structures for them.

Question: do Kirhos have any structures or anything? I kinda wanna incorporate their way into my base

FU Kirhos are included in FU itself.

Where do I find the FU Kirhos? I'm not seeing it on the workshop here

This is not the place to discuss your mod's issues, I think we should discuss this in private, or via Discord. Just try to explain to me what it is you want to do, and I will do my best to help.

This isn't my mod and the original author gave full permission for the assets. Anyone who wants to take over and do a proper non-FU version has my permission and the original author's permission. I do wish I could have done more but I just don't know how and I don't have the patience to continue trying to brute force it.

I can help you with clothing recipes, but it will not be for free. In fact, I can do the coding for the recipes, the spinning wheel and all. Intrested? my terms will not be ruinous I promise.
As a token of goodwill, I will provide you with the dialogue I wrote for the Kirhosi race (the FU version that is) which is currently being distributed as part of Starbound Awakens.

seankodey - try and get a crash, then exit the game - shut it down. Send us a link to the generated starbound.log file and I might be able to figure out what is going on.

I think that might be what's causing the crashes.

Tested it again. It seems the ship won't load the starter planet. How odd.

I can assure you I'm not. Maybe its just a bugged save. Or maybe its something in the ship's cargo hold.

The mod is working for me on a fresh game. If you're using Frackin Universe don't use this mod as they have their own Kirhos. If not post your Starbound.log in the Bug Reports.

Playing as a Kirhos seems to be crashing my game now. I assume it has something to do with the Discord update.

Probably someone who's willing to code for the Kirhos race, though I'm not a coder myself either. And I'm wondering what the voices for the said race would sound like. Like taking damage or dialogue.

I had some ideas however I have no idea how to code so I was never able to implement them.

Even though this race mod is included in FU, was wondering if it's gonna recieve any future updates. Excluding the FU since this race is only updated just a little iirc.

Yep, Khiros are included with Frackin Universe.

Huh I had no idea they did that. I didn't make Kirhos, I simply got it to working condition since Yako gave full permission for the assets on the Forums. I'm sure the FU team will take care of this mod much better than I can.

@S00perEPICMrFox As of a few updates ago, Frackin' Universe actually does add three playable races: two originals, and a revival of the Kirhos. If this was done without your consent, you may want to take it up with the FU team. Frackin' Races now supports the FU version of the Kirhos, but not the original version.

That really doesn't make sense since neither Frackin Universe nor Frackin Races add any playable races. Kirhos are in FU as NPCs (as well as some clothing and armor sets) but not in Frackin Races. So I don't know.

I have frackin universe and its race mod but I do NOT have this downloaded. However, it is playable to me. EXPLAIN PLEASE.

I believe ive fixed it. Just an issue with loading the world.

I can't replicate that problem. Please paste your Starbound.log at Pastebin or something and link it to me in the Bug Reports.

Sadly, everytime i try to use this mod. The screen goes white and im returned to my ship. No other races does this for me. And i remember this glitch occuring back when this mod first came out a year or so ago. Any idea how to fix it?

This was the first modded race I played; I'm so glad to see it make a return! Keep doing what you do!
