I have finally found a mod that showed what happened with the death of earth! I am thankful that you guys have decided to add the power struggle with the end of the protectorate. I've been wondering about what would have happened after the fall of the protectorate since shortly after i got the game on an older account.

@IndianaJoe4323 so basically, imagine a future where people can mutilate themselves to the point of hideousness, drug themselves heavily so they see no problems, live in a VR world while the real one decays all around them, or just upload their minds to cputers entirely. Maybe even trade in their bodies for robotic bodies built by some megacorporation that can actually control their customers once they've bought their products. Mankind loses its humanity, and degeneracy reigns. That's transhumanism.

YES! I knew something like this had to exist. All of the races got cool darker elements to them except the humans, talk about bias :|

I've taken to imagining the protectorate's "We're the good guys" vibe as a propaganda thing, and that in reality they were a massive controlling regime that made most humans into blind followers.
Trying to "protect" the entire galaxy and all of the races in it- in exchange of their original cultures and values of course. Can't have those native hethenistic violent tendencies, can we?

Certainly more interesting than the sickeningly sweet "good guy" thing being actually genuine and literal.

I definitely be keeping an eye on this, great work so far!

Well United Systems Expansion has a linear tier 6 campaign that lasts around 3-10 hours only counting mission length and difficulty. Its got tonnes of enemy unit types and a heavy war-torn feeling. Enemy Tanks included.

As for procedural "world wars" with only a couple "faction bases". Not possible.

In my opinion the Apex "War" mission was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ underwhelming. Who sends a single squad to fight a small security detail and then calls it a "battle". "Lana Blake" is a ♥♥♥♥ character.

When I meant about planets I didn't mean planets as in making your own biome or world, I meant that maybe you could make like a World-At-War kind of thing, where you land in the planet and there's one base and there's other where NPC keep fighting each other, sort of like the Apex-artifact quest where you land in a war zone.

I don't know if that's possible in generated worlds, but that'd be incredibly amazing.

You did read the description of atleast United Systems Expansion right? 7 month development? Space encounters? Various procedural dungeons? Around 100 enemy types? No?

Custom Planets are a no-no as anyone that subbed would be held hostage. That's for when a really big multi-planet update comes out.

Custom Blocks would require an ID and mess with compatibilities.

Custom Armor already exists.

Also the lore exists already what the hell dude.

You guys should add some NPC bases.
Some ideas would be:
-Custom armor
-Custom blocks
-Custom planets
That way you can set your own lore and make it an autentic UGLY place.

There's no implemented lore for that yet but it's a planned faction to complement the Democratic United Systems and the Communistic United Socialist Systems Republic.

US.E Does aim to add to realistically, a politically unstable and war-torn galaxy filled with xenophobia (no, the United Systems aren't space racist "evil bad guys"), wars, politics and crime lords.

Even before that, the 2nd USSR is mentioned in the lore, only surviving on Earth for 3 months before East Democratic Russia defeated them (Before the protectorate).
