@avanya nvm thats ok. if you cant place it in the map editor i dont think procedural objects would be able to do anything. i could be wrong. ill just have to add it for my personal build on the map. great workshop btw. its amazing stuff.

@zimmier not sure if this would work, but you can try converting this building as a procedural object.. this would turn it into a "prop"... you lose any building functionality, but you can manipulate the shape to your liking..

@zimmier: It's possible yeah, but I won't be making a prop version. Props work slightly differently in the game it would disappear when you zoom out.

is it possible to convert this to a prop? im building a map and trying to place this as a prop. or do you have a prop version? the game recognizes it as a building and you cant place buildings in map editor

Yup it's just decorative. I do have a version for Industries though that holds oil ^^

lol i forgot i have subbed on this until i was looking to decorate my industry area...

so im wondering i assume that this is just like a prop that this is non functional?? just for deco purposes..

Thank you! Hopefully I'll be back to making assets soon. ^^
Ah, I couldn't remember how much of the dirt was the color variation and how much was on the actual texture. Some of the tanks definitely have some dirt that can't be removed, but I guess that one doesn't. :P

Well its up to you. It could be park without any visitors or unique building. It does not have to be sewage/water category or the building which was added in ND DLC which can store water if the city is in troubles. For now I've used one of your oil tanks without logo. To my surprise I tried to use paint it mod and I used 100% white color and the tank lost the "dirt" on the coating and it is now purely white but it is for oil, but it does not bother me :) If you will decide do one in the future I think it will be great for many players. But I saw comment somewhere that you have some problems with your thumb and that you are after surgery and you are going through "healing process". So I can wish you all the best and fast recovery. :)

If I'm gonna make one I'd rather make something that's correct than just a clean version of the oil tanks. :P I'm guessing you're after something purely decorative since you haven't mentioned function. :)

I'm would like to see something like this :)
http://www.cmeusa1.com/cmsAdmin/uploads/4.jpg .It is very similiar to your oil concrete tanks but slightly different. The shape is different. But I think it does not matter that much. I think if you could take one of your oil tanks and remove industrial props and make it clean white/grey texture withou any "dirt" I think it would be enough :) Thank you for considering it.

@Overlord: As something that functions with pumping trucks like the one from ND? Or just decorative ones? I'll add it to my list, but no promises on when. :)

Avanya could you create one tank for water please? I noticed you created a lot of oil tanks but not single one for your modular water treatment facility :) I found one on the workshop but it is asset from 2015 and it has purple colors :/

I did choose industy-oil, but not the 'extractor' oil. Needless to say, I may just try 'industry-generic' or just leave it as a park.
Avanya  [author] Jun 26, 2017 @ 1:19am
@Skitty's_Daddy: You can if you want. It sounds like you made this an oil extractor and then it needs oil in the ground to function. So if you give it RICO settings, you might want to keep that in mind. :)
ConureGuy_411 Jun 25, 2017 @ 4:20pm
I did. I am in the process of reinstalling CS, not because of this- but because I just need to clean out my assets (over 1400) and am starting fresh. I'll be sure NOT to add RICO settings to these assets in the future.
Avanya  [author] Jun 25, 2017 @ 3:19am
@Skitty's_Daddy: It's a park, so it shouldn't do that at all. Have you added RICO settings to it perhaps?

When I plop this asset (or your other oil tank assets) I get a "not enough resources" icon above it.

@Avanya Thanks, you're a star! :)

@vokepasa21: Yeah, that LOD definately wasn't pretty! :P I just updated it with a fix. :)
Avanya  [author] May 13, 2017 @ 2:51am
Sounds like an auto generated LOD. I'll have a look and see if the proper LOD didn't get imported.
AntonioBernal May 13, 2017 @ 2:41am
Thanks for this one Avanya, I really prefer it without the logo. I have just noticed the LOD is very blocky, showing a very ugly square on top and some geometrical shapes which ruin the spherical shape. I'm not sure if this just a consequence of the low tris LOD (always appreciate how well optimised your assets are) so I thought I'd let you know. Let me know if you want a screenshot!
