Should work, but I have no idea what the last working version was and if it's still available. Whatever causes the crash is probably easily fixed within 2-3h, too, one simply needs to find the changed files and merge them - but honestly, I won't do it. If anyone wants to and re-upload the mod under their own name, though, be my guest :)

Unfortunate, but I don't work on this anymore. Anyone with the skills and the motivation to fix this is free to re-upload their own version, though.

To give you some initial leads: You have to reduce lord/hero HP (in some table with all the individual units) and change their attacks from AoE to normal, while also reducing damage dealt (both of this is done in the weapons-table). Now the problem is that you will probably also have to go through all skills and upgrades having anything to do with lord/hero-combat to properly balance all of those and that will take a while ...

Nope, not possible, sorry. I began this humongous project with exactly your intention, though, and that is relatively easy to achieve. So the only thing you could do is getting into modding and doing it yourself

Hey mate, sorry if this is obviously stated anywhere but I didn't spot it.
Is it possible to enable only some aspects of the changes? I essentially just want to tell the lords to stop being demi-gods, otherwise I'm quite happy with the game.

Or, to be honest your changes might well be amazing for the game, i'm just wary of changing too much!

Thanks. Do I need an account or what? The first link directs me to main mediafire site with no search option. The other one leads to some suspicious www.com.com site. I had similar problem with the startpos mod by the way, which also don't direct me to the uploaded file so I am playing Skarsnik without researching technology (I can consider this as additional challenge)

Since you know how to handle modding yourself, though, I encourage you to simply add walls back in. Go to "db/building_effects_junction_tables/data__core" and add the following effect to "wh_main_emp_settlement_major_1" etc. The effect is "wh_main_effect_settlement_walls_hidden" scope "region_to_region_own" value "1", also for damaged and ruined.
Don't forget "wh_main_special_settlement_XYZ_1-5" either, although they're a total pain in the ass. Feel free to publish it as a submod as well, I'll link to it. The easiest way would be to add a new table like "db/building_effects_junction_tables/walls" or something with only wall effects in it, in case I decide to change something in the data__core table in the future after all. Load order would also be unaffected in that case.

I just really hate sieges, mostly because the AI is utterly unprepared to handle them, I couldn't take it anymore. The fact that all infantry units automatically carry ladders also makes an efficient defense impossible. The drawback is that some skills and techs that improved artillery damage are now pretty pointless, since the most important advantage to increased artillery damage is in breaking down walls more quickly.

Thanks for the update. But isn't it a one step too far? I strongly supported making garrisons smaller, but this.Hmm, I agree that sieges where mostly dull and tedious, but in Your overhaul they happened rarely and from time to time they can be exciting. The point of walled settlements is too buy defender some time, to gather field army and send relief force. It's historical and realistic as is the purpose of this mod. Besides I guess the lack of fortifications will strongly favour horde factions. I would gladly hear Your opinion on this. Regards

Hi! I'm having the same problem Fitz had in February; I'm trying to launch my game with nothing but your mod, the radius mod and the radius units mod and I get a crash on game start. Game works fine without it; I've also tried verifying cache integrity, but to no avail. Any insight on the issue since then?

Hello. I am using the 6 mods of your list, but there are some problems. First, I cannot find a way to give mounts to heroes, and the other, the wizards dont have any spells. I am only using these mods in that order. And heroes have only 1hp. Thanks

Still love Your mod. I tried to tweak it a bit with Pack File Manager, yet the programme can't find Your mod. I have no such issue with dozens other mods. I can also tweak Your AI mod, but not an overhaul. Any idea? What's the full name of the pack files? Is it somewhat 'hidden' in Radious and Radious Units pack?

Tested it and I don't experience crashes, I get to the main menu just fine. I have no idea why some people get crashes when using the exact same version as I do, it doesn't make sense!

Did a clean reinstall and this mod crashes on startup before the intro movies start. Using all 4 mods and I have all the DLCs. Radious on its own works fine.

If you disabled sfo and better campaign movement, there should not be a problem. Maybe you have "hard" mods installed which don't show up in the mod-manager? Some visual mods are like that.

hello, the game crashes on start, like before the menu is shown. i have radious and radious units, and the campaign ai, thats it. i do have sfo installed and better campaign movement, but disabled them. i also verified game files and all is ok with that. any idea as to what to do? cheers

IT IS DONE! The mod is now 100% finished! I will still change minor things around and go bug-hunting, but there are no large changes left to do (since I changed every single aspect of the game now).
The only major idea I have left is improving AI battle formations, but that's really quite a minor side-project compared to what I worked on these past few months ...

It's the camera mods. Cameras are controlled by campaign_variables (for some inexplicable reason), which is a table I heavily modified.

Yes i have radious total units as well.I have a better camera mod,better campaign camera mod, BETTER Campaign Map - OVERHAULED, GCCM main, skip intro logos, yours campaign AI and yours ROR re-enabled.I have turned off every other mod.
