can you give yourself an extreamly insane amount of carry weight
odi0n Jul 13, 2016 @ 3:14pm
can I decrease the carry weight? I would like a hyper (close) to realistic carry weight. Perhaps no more than 20lbs on person, 40lbs (maybe more w/ backpack) is this possible in this mod - I choose the weight parameters? (About to start a rugged, hyper realistic playthrough) Anybody know of any Frostfall, campfire similiar mods here in steam? (Done with nexus mods for now - too many reoccuring issues, more time fixing than playing - thats about to change)

Yes, it does reduce Carry Capacity to around 200 depending on the race/gender you choose instead of Skyrim's default 300. It will not work as a separate mod and is meant to be used in conjunction with my Character Creation Overhaul mod: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=89896226

does this mod reduce the " carry capacity" or what exactly does it do? (sry for my bad english im german :D)

@yannik.schulz: Pick one or the other: either install using Nexus or Steam Workshop, don't use both. If you prefer Nexus then download from the Nexus site and install manually or use Nexus Mod Manager.

I have all plugins of the mods in Nexus, but I don´t know what I have to do with that files, if I want to install the mods from steam in Nexuss.

Like idea of this mod, but the carry weight is still too high.

I say this for all Syclonix's Over haul mods and will post on each of them. Great work and I give two thumbs up and favorite on making better NPC's for Skyrim. Keep up the good work Syclonix. You have my vote.

For some reason, The whole thing isnt working for me and I dont know why could you help me?
Syclonix  [author] Feb 5, 2013 @ 11:00am
Hi Jake, that's strange and isn't meant to happen. Your starting carry weight should be in the 150-250 range unless you are using another mod that affects carry weight. Perhaps you can try it again on an existing character and see if you get different results?
Jake_ Feb 5, 2013 @ 12:30am
Yeah I know. But if you activate the mod with a current save then it resets your carry weight to as if you were a clean character. Spent stamina points are not factored in when the mod is loaded on a current save. I had 10 stamina spent and the carry weight was reset to 85 on my archer build when it should have been 185
Syclonix  [author] Feb 4, 2013 @ 7:00pm
Hi Jake,

Are you using another mod which modifies your carry weight? If not you can easily undo the carry weight changes by uninstalling CCO. The carry weight changes are an intentional part of the mod and are detailed in the documentation/screenshots.
Jake_ Jan 31, 2013 @ 12:15am
DO NOT ACTIVATE THIS MOD WITH A CURRENT SAVE! IT WILL RESET YOUR CARRY WEIGHT AND UNDO ALL OF YOUR SPENT STAMINA!

i understand, thats why i've always said ur the best out there; but thank u anyway, peace out my man, CRT
Syclonix  [author] Nov 23, 2012 @ 4:02pm
Yeah, no need to worry about any changes to the Steam version. Also, I don't know how to create a follower mod, sorry :/ in fact, I don't even have Skyrim installed anymore. I'm just answering comments here as a courtesy.
Skullgrim69 Nov 23, 2012 @ 3:59pm
no what im asking is; i dont use nexus so i dont need to woory about ant changes, to my steam version? plus if u have the time some day i'd like to ask u a question about creating a mod follower for a friend, i, as ive said no nothing about the ck. and yes ive wached the vids on youtube, to no avail.
Syclonix  [author] Nov 23, 2012 @ 3:43pm
Hi Saurkraut. I'm not 100% sure what you're asking, but if you are asking if you can mix the Steam Workshop versions and Skyrim Nexus versions of my mod, the answer is yes.
Skullgrim69 Nov 23, 2012 @ 1:57pm
its Saurkraut, with a new name, anyway i just got this but the nexus is the devil, therefor i dont sell my soul to it, will my steam version be cool?
Syclonix  [author] Nov 23, 2012 @ 1:05pm
If you're referring to the Oblivion Carry Weight module, it would simply unapply the changes from the module. For example if your carry weight was 200 it would be restored to 300. If you are referring to CCO in general, the changes will stick UNLESS you uninstall the mod using the CCO Uninstaller or by activating the book in your inventory called A New Beginning and selecting "Erase".
Ralthron Nov 23, 2012 @ 12:07pm
i have a question, if i were to remove this what would it do to my already saved games?
Syclonix  [author] Aug 24, 2012 @ 2:17pm
Thanks for the words of encouragement saurkraut! I appreciate your support. Enjoy the mod :)
Skullgrim69 Aug 24, 2012 @ 1:37pm
i guess i just want the full experince, you know what i mean; otherwise you wouldent have created this fantastic masterpiece. when i first installed skyrim, i thought it to be like oblivion, regardless to say i was a bit disapointed(see profile); But now you may just be its/my saving grace. keep up the exelent work, im sure its not easy, hell i still cant even figure out the CK, and use console commands when needed. Curt
Syclonix  [author] Aug 24, 2012 @ 1:00pm
saurkraut79, try CCO without using the Oblivion Carry Weights module. By default CCO averages the Race/Gender Carry Weights to 300 which is default in vanilla Skyrim.
Skullgrim69 Aug 24, 2012 @ 11:33am
i see, thanks for clearing that up for me. the reason im asking so many questions, and being a pain in the ass, is because i really liked ES Oblivion, and i like what ur doing. but im quite the pack rat; need cash in the early stages, and the weight factor could be a prob for me. although, i do have the bandolears mod along with the backpack mod so in essence that should even things out a bit, i hope. thank u again, Curt.
Syclonix  [author] Aug 24, 2012 @ 10:49am
Yes, you can definitely use the uninstaller or just load a previous save game before using CCO.

The female wood elf carry weight is 250 in the screenshot because the screenshot is ironically, not using the Oblivion Carry Weights module. When activated, the carry weight goes down to 150.

If you look at the Races chart screenshot above, the "Strength" for female wood elves is 30. 30 * 5 = 150 carry weight. "Strength" is simply an attribute from previous TES games which I used to calculate Carry Weight, it doesn't technically exist in Skyrim.
Skullgrim69 Aug 24, 2012 @ 5:21am
either way, it seem the best way to learn more about ur work of art, would be to install it and experince it for myself, and if i feel unhappy about the changes, just use the uninstaler on all of my saved char. games.
Skullgrim69 Aug 24, 2012 @ 5:10am
i see, but in the pic above it reads 250? also u said strX5, i dont recall any str. in this game, unless ur refering to the size scale 1-10, or u added a str., am i right? because normally everyone has 300 if not mistaken. (getav carryweight, allways=300)
Syclonix  [author] Aug 23, 2012 @ 9:02pm
Hi saurkraut79,
Carry Weight is calculated using the Oblivion formula (5 x Strength) and then it is scaled up to match the average Carry Weight in Skyrim. The Oblivion Carry Weights module makes it so it doesn't scale up, so for the Female Wood Elf their Carry Weight using this module would be 150 instead of 250.
Skullgrim69 Aug 23, 2012 @ 7:15pm
i see in ur example pics, a female wood elf, begins with a stamina 90 that = 250 carryweight. is that right? so, the carryweight is determined by stamina, as well as other factors, like race, gender, and so on?
