How did you place the gel splats? I know it is possible to place a splat in the in-game editor. I can't figure out how to do it in HAMMER.

In most cases crashes like this are caused by the Steam Workshop. The map is pretty large (78MB). If the downloaded map files is corrupted or it wasn't downloaded completely when you start the game, it can cause problems.
Try to
- Unsubscribe, then subscribe to the map again.
- Restart Steam
- Restart your computer
If this doesn't help, let me know if you get any errors...
