Great starter home or main smaller home. One of my favorite house mods. Thanks for creating this.

oh so sorry have been there and luckily had just got a new one on HP when my old one died,,,, the joys of electronics... I just want to say I love this lil house it has everything i could need. sometimes I wonder if the foxkits miss there dad and wish he had a door to get in and out of but the doors are open so it's his choice.. I saw mama fight off a slaughterfish the other day and was most pleased i was ready to intervene but she didn't need me. thank you for such a wonderful addition to my experience and I hope things work out better for you soon

Very well done. In other circumstances I would keep this in my game and use it, but not quite for me. Sorry to hear about your computer crash. Been there done that, I hope you get it sorted out soon. I would love to see more from you, maybe even hire you to work on a mod for me if you were up to it.

I don't know if you're doing anything for this mod anymore, BUT...if you were to redesign this to be compatible with Heartfire, it would be PERFECT.

This is the only add-on house that I have used for more than one character. I like non-OP. I like the location. I like all crafting with no loading screens. I think the layout is as close to ideal as one can get. It could have had a lttle bit more diverse storage (there are unusable boxes that could have been empty shelf space even if they were not usable containers) but that is a minor quibble with a Five-Star mod.

Nah not in your Library, I meant when you click PLAY to start the game, the small window (Launcher) pops up and should have a few options like "Data Files" or something on it. if you click Data Files it should show you all your installed mods (in your case then it should show The Fox Hole and the Unofficial Patches - do you have them? If not, that could be contributing to your probs). I think it's always a good idea to get SKSE, and also LOOT.

Hi Fayde1, I rebooted my computer and when I logged in this time my Fox Hole was back, but my loot was all gone unfortunately. Went back to a really old save game I had and now my stuff is there. Unfortunately it's seeming really glitchy since it was gone, and then there, but no stuff and stuff in an old save.

The Fox Hole was the only mod I had for Skyrim.

I don't see anywhere where it says I have the Fox Hole on my Steam Library though? I just got it by clicking the Subscribe button way back when.

I don't have SKSE either.

Try to reload again, if you haven't done that already.
First thing, make sure you have no conflicting mods. Maybe in the same area?
Also, go to your mod manager and make sure all your mods (especially this one) are ticked for loading - usually this is done just by starting the game from your Steam Library.
I'd suggest running Loot (free download - it sorts your Load Order into the best possible order and looks for conflicts etc)
And if you have SKSE installed, restart the game using yur SKSE icon only, not the Steam Library...
See how you go?

i have 2 questons, 1 when are maniquins going to be there, or are they already there, and #2 i think it needs some rabbits hanigng up, foxes hunt rabbits, so lots of those, otherwise realy good mod i like the design i think it will go great with my other mods, one more thing, commas,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, "i use alot of cammas" ,,,,,,,,,,

Warning: Conflicts/Crashes the game if Oakwood or any other mod is installed due to Oakwood and similar mods being in the same area. Otherwise great player home, two thumbs up.

were do I get the file to install without steam mate?

A wood chopping block on that little island would be in line with your simple/basics only philosophy in this mod. But I must say that I really like the mod. No loading between the crafting areas makes up for the bare-bones storage options. Good work.

+Been using this quite a long time- still very happy with it :) Glad it's still up on the workshop :) I don't care for the 'overdone' mod homes, the more overdone (imo, of course) they get- the more I lose interest in them.

Ever consider making a snowy location "Snow Fox" hole?

I think that is an exceptionally well-done mod. The location, theme, interior lighting (so warm and cozy!), storage and furniture arrangements, and all the little extras make this a little get-away worth keeping. It's spacious and tidy, with the right amount of clutter, and fits right in with the original game. Perfect for fox lovers, fans of Lake Illinalta's beauty, or new players. I love it and I'm keeping it, but I'm going to take a look at The Reserve as well.

The instant I read that the fox is named Winston, I remembered the part in Half Life 2 after Ravenholm, just before you get the buggy. Hopefully, this Winston will fare better.

just on a side not I absolutely HATE the workshop interface its impossinble to find where to create and modify collections. i wouldnt bitch here but i hate it. that much everyone should know

ive made this my Game house! i love this house. so cozy

This is a very nice home, it's nice to see it has a few things worth grabbing but not too much that it makes it over powered. It's the perfect size so one can have something for every place to decorate it and it isn't at a bad fishing spot (for the fishing in skyrim mod). It's beyond perfect for my fox mage character. I had no trouble finding it at all. The pet fox is cute and I like how he has a bed, ball, kennel and various other things. Over all it is one of my favorite houses.

Where is the house located?

Good mod, I LOVE your mods, I have them all, Reserve I, Fox Hole and of course Reserve II. You do good work with your player home collection, *sorry for the bad english, I'm usually german :D

Nevermind! It seems that whenever just going around that general area, my game CTDs. I'll try and hunt down whatever mod might be doing that. It's weird, though. After uninstalling The Fox Hole AND The Asteria, it still CTDs, and with those deleted, the landscape literally hasn't been changed at all.

Having a bit of a problem here. I can't even go NEAR the house without a CTD. It doesn't even freeze, it just closes instantly. I had The Asteria mod installed, and I deleted it thinking it may be what's causing me trouble (The Asteria is really close to the Fox Hole, so I assumed that was the problem). But even then, it still crashes. Fast Travelling CTDs before the game finishes loading, and going to the Guardian Stones and approaching from there CTDs once I get close. Not sure what to do now.

Oh nevermind now he finally moved

this is fantastic! great home, i found the note on the mini fridge and when it came up to read it was way off screen, i could only read like a 3rd of it, but this house is awesome!
