I must say this is really good mod a total top for ES fans like but has some little flaws. I srolled coments slightly and i noticed that it needs more mountain ranges and yes it needs especialy cyrodil and morrowind border curently there are none also resource placement is little bit off(my opinion city´s doesnt benefit from them) and the biggest fly in my MAIQ is tat skyrim aka gustavus? who wha? rly? okey its a nordic culture etc....but why not danes? harald hadrada with hi really LONG BOAT is perfect it for ysgramor hell even skyrim had a high king named hadrada (he killed dragon cult in forelhost near riften)and whats more importat if you chose to play in clasic erra which all should play in for proper roleplay it fits more als with units... but overall really good mod and im quite glad for it. thx man.

can someone help, i downloaded the map, moved to map files to the map folder, but when i get ingame, it says the files are "invalid" can someone help

Love this mod but the city razing ruin the mod completely, if he could remove city razing this mod would be so much better.

Dan that debatable since the capital of the storm cloaks was windhelm and i do see youre point because witherun is nowhere close to being skyrims capital

@JasonoTheGreat, sorry i havent responded sooner, also im sorry that you are having problems with my mod.

so your game crashes when you hit start (i assume you mean you picked your country then the little scene where the guy tell you about the country then you get the start button, not the start button when you are configuring you game), i dont have that problem. perhaps your computer isnt strong enough to deal with all the stuff on the screen so you might want to turn down your graphics. this mod comes with gods and kings version well as a vanilla version, mabe you can only play the vanilla maps. of coures you could just unsubscribe and then resubscribe and that might work. maybe you need to uninstall and reinstall your game. maybe if you delete the Civ5ModsDatabase.db file in your my games/civ 5/Cache file that might help you out seeing as it was stoping me from resubscribing to the map since i didnt have it and if you delete it you get another one if you start the game again.

While I would like for no city razing to be on, the fact that both the player and AI can settle new cities means that dozens and dozens of cities could be founded and never razed. If there is a way to include a mod or feature that disables settlers while turning city razing off, that would work nicely.

Lets get this clear. Markarth was the first city ever built, but was mainly underground until the human population settled there.

Windhelm was the first human built area, but not the first settled area, as humans found markarth first when travelling south bound to Tamriel with Ysgramor

foehawk is kind of right, kind of wrong, as there are dwarf cities everyehere; markarth is above ground and humans live in it, but the dwemmer have loads of cities underground

its a bit smaller then i would like and skyrim is to short and riften is the most southern city you can even see it on the map your using and last but not least why no orcs i think it would be fun conquering highrock starting with one city

you should check the no city razing box so all cities won't be razed when conquered

Mournhold should be moved to the right 3 tiles and down one tile, to place it properly in Almalexia Province. Old Ebonheart should be placed as well.

The Velothi Mountains should be a large geographical obstacle. They should form a barrier At least 3 mountains wide in most places with 1-3 "pinch point" passes. This makes the passage from Morrowind into Skyrim a little tricky.

Why no imperial city, isn't there an island in the middle of the lake there?

I like this map, just one thing, Solitude could be the capital of Skyrim/Sweden.
1. It's the actual capital of Skyrim, after Windhelm.
2. Would be better to defend.
3. Also explained to be the powerhouse of Skyrim, explained the TESIV, since, if you take it with either the Stormcloaks or the Imperials, they gain control of all of Skyrim.

But, Whiterun could also be the capital, considering it is technically the oldest hold/city in Skyrim.

Can you make it so the AI doesn't raze every city it captures? Huge gaps in the map can be a pain. Besides that, great mod! Love the idea, and the gameplay is awesome! Keep it up!

@Abraman Solitude is stated in the game to be the capital of Skyrim, as it is where the High King rules from. Even after completing the Stormcloak questline, Ulfric can be found in both Windhelm and Solitude. Windhelm is the oldest city in Skyrim by some accounts, and was the capital during the First Empire, I believe.

One more correction, in your scenario set after the Great War, Helstrom should belong to Black Marsh and be the capital.

anyone notice that if you only go as far as the medieval age( with the mod) with the summerset isles you cant get to mainland tamriel
