Monkey Butt Gamer Dec 6, 2021 @ 4:16pm
When i mean cloth i mean ripped sheets
Monkey Butt Gamer Dec 6, 2021 @ 4:16pm
like in 7 days to die, cloth and clue, i think there is a mod that allows you to make glue.
soulfilcher  [author] Dec 6, 2021 @ 4:06pm
I have no idea how a person would craft it from the materials we have.
Monkey Butt Gamer Dec 6, 2021 @ 3:49pm
What about the duck tape any thoughts on making a mod
soulfilcher  [author] Dec 6, 2021 @ 2:43pm
Yeah, in this version I spawned a bucket on the ground. I only found a better way of doing that later, in the build 41 version.
Monkey Butt Gamer Dec 6, 2021 @ 2:10pm
I didn't see it also empty buckets are placed on the ground after i used concrete is that normal, also i was just wondering could you make a mod that allows us to make duck tape cheers.

Clay is in the same forage category as other materials. But the foraging system is about to receive a huge overhaul, so hat will have to be updated too.
Monkey Butt Gamer Dec 6, 2021 @ 8:49am
How to do you foraged Clay
soulfilcher  [author] Nov 4, 2021 @ 3:22pm
Yes, this version was made for build 40 and should work in MP.
Alexander1713cc Nov 4, 2021 @ 2:45pm
Does the mod work on B40? (MP)
MaDeAbU Jun 6, 2020 @ 8:45am
Great mod! Awaiting upload for build 41 =)
soulfilcher  [author] May 26, 2020 @ 10:33am
@Klaus: It is not compatible with build 41. I will upload a separate version for that.
Klaus May 25, 2020 @ 2:53pm
.41 compatible?
agreubill Jan 12, 2019 @ 12:38pm
okdok !
soulfilcher  [author] Jan 12, 2019 @ 12:27pm
It isn't as common as the other magazines, the spawn chance is around half the value for the vanilla magazines.
agreubill Jan 12, 2019 @ 4:11am
Just to be 100% sure, the recipe magazine could be find in mailboxes/library shelves/etc. with a decent % chance (just curious) ?
agreubill Jan 10, 2019 @ 4:56am
After a bit of pause, it's time to test that clay/kiln thing !
soulfilcher  [author] Dec 9, 2018 @ 5:59am
You can find the magazine in most places where you would find other magazines. You don't need to restart the game, but if you searched a lot before you added the mod, then you might need to wait for loot respawn.
Navegante Dec 6, 2018 @ 8:43am
Did i need to start a new game to get the magazines? cuz i found a clay and some tools to brick up walls... or i need to get it from necroforge?
soulfilcher  [author] Nov 12, 2018 @ 8:51am
The recipe in the magazine, that's all. It is possible that the admin power doesn't give you the recipe I made.
Lovely Nov 12, 2018 @ 7:36am
That's odd. I only see the options to build the walls and four different kinds of tombstones. What are the requirements?
soulfilcher  [author] Nov 12, 2018 @ 7:31am
@Lovely: I just tested it with this mod and Necroforge enabled. After reading the magazine I had the option to build a kiln in the masonry menu.
Lovely Nov 12, 2018 @ 7:23am
Many thanks! Looking forward to a fix soon, love your mods and hope to see more in the future from you.
soulfilcher  [author] Nov 12, 2018 @ 7:18am
@Lovely: I'll check it.
Lovely Nov 12, 2018 @ 1:30am
I used admin to unlock all recipes, nothing. I have both kinds of trowels in my inventory, cement, bricks, etc, there is no option, anywhere, to build a kiln.
soulfilcher  [author] Nov 11, 2018 @ 7:36am
@Lovely: To build the kiln you need to read a magazine with the recipe first.
Lovely Nov 11, 2018 @ 5:53am
There is no option to build a kiln.
ne_propheta Oct 30, 2018 @ 2:07pm
Splendid, thanks! :steamhappy:
soulfilcher  [author] Oct 30, 2018 @ 1:13pm
As far as I know it works on its own. Unless the changes to the game broke how context menus work in general.
ne_propheta Oct 23, 2018 @ 3:40am
@soulfilcher does this mod still continue to work or do we have to wait like with the Farming Time mod?

Thanks in advance1
soulfilcher  [author] Jul 13, 2018 @ 9:14am
@Sylinafox: I don't know if hydrocraft has any similar items that could cause confusion, but in this mod if you have the brick mold, clay and water you should be able to make the molded brick.
Sylinafox Jul 13, 2018 @ 4:21am
Im having a problem adding clay to the molded brick. I have the mason trowl in hand. Could it be having conflict with hydrocraft? Or am I missing something?
agreubill Jul 6, 2018 @ 9:51am
Enjoy !
ne_propheta Jul 6, 2018 @ 12:24am
Great news! :steamhappy:
soulfilcher  [author] Jul 5, 2018 @ 3:00pm
Hey guys, there is a planned mod update that may add more ways to acquire bricks. I still have to think about concrete though.
ne_propheta Jul 5, 2018 @ 2:12pm
Hi @soulilcher !
I'm using a craftable gravel bags mod that uses ~3 stones + hammer + sack to obtain a gravel bag.
Not the most realistic way, I know, but the problem is that gravel isn't an issue for me; bricks, instead, are very rare (as @agreubill, I'm playing with Normal to Rare loot options in custom sandbox).
And, just like @agreubill suggested, is there a way to make Clay forageable (like any other Forest Goods, stones, twigs, tree branches, etc.) and, maybe after "playing" with an hammer or bare hands or something and then cooking it (like Logs in your Blacksmith mod to make Charcoal), finally obtain Bricks?

Ancient civilizations used Straw, Dirt and\or Clay to make Adobe, even if I'm not sure that this kind of "Brick" could really fit your Building Time mod! xD

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adobe#Poured_and_puddled_adobe_walls

Anyway, thanks as always for the great work! :steamhappy:
Azreal May 15, 2018 @ 7:51pm
I tried to base the recipe off of real world concrete. Since limestone isn't in Vanilla the closest to in would be the bones of fish. :p
agreubill May 14, 2018 @ 10:39am
@ Soulficher : the ratio for bricks is perfect, no need to change. The loot ratio for concrete is alrdy crappy in Vanilla, it's not tied to your work at all. Most probably, the fact is play with Rare loot ratio on "Others items" doesn't help... :) But still, on my last run, i've found ONE concrete bag (in a bakery, go figure...)

@ Azreal : Thks ! I'll test that. I'm just curious about the reason of fishs in that recipe ; Why are they here ?

@Jake : i don't play with Hydro ; tooooo much things in it to my taste :)
soulfilcher  [author] May 13, 2018 @ 6:26pm
I'm willing to chance spawn chances if people think it is too hard to find concrete or bricks. I'm waiting for the vehicles update since there are a few things that will need it in order to work.
Azreal May 13, 2018 @ 5:42pm
Agreubill go to your Steam folder then open Sreamapps, Common, Project Zomboid, Media, then Scripts. There should be a text file that says recipes. Open that and add this recipe.

recipe Make Concrete Powder
{
Water,
Stone=10,
Bass/Catfish/Perch/Crappie/Panfish/Pike/Trout,

Result:ConcretePowder,
Time:80.0,
Category:Survivalist,
}

That will add craftable Concrete Powder under Survival (I think) and wallah problem solved. I also made a survivalist Fishing Rod to go with that recipe if you want that too. You will need access to both a water source to fish from and foraging area to make the Concrete Power. If you need help just let me know and I'll do what I can to help though it would be limited to mostly recipe crafting lol.
MikefromJake May 10, 2018 @ 1:48pm
Actually, if you have Hydrocraft Mod there´s a recipe to make concrete:

http://undeniable.info/pz/wiki/recipe.php?ID=2047
agreubill May 10, 2018 @ 7:03am
Due to the rarity/scarcity of Concrete bags in Vanilla, It's really hard to use this mod (not tied to the mod itself anyway). Maybe it will be necessary at some point to add some way to make hand-made concrete (some kind of old mortar), which (i know) suppose to be able to find & collect clay.
sugarskull May 9, 2018 @ 10:20pm
I think you should consider increasing spawn rate of bricks. After many hours of looting with this mod enabled I have found only a handful of bricks, hardly enough to do any building project of substance. Alternatively, methods to scavenge them from existing brick walls?
Soptan Apr 28, 2018 @ 3:19am
@ autor : Hi, well i really like this mod, how many HP does Brickwalls have, and how many +points did they get from skill lvl. ? Is there a way to build better, stronger Doors, too ? Like Wooden Door lvl 2 with some extra hp, maybe a metal door ?
[TFB] The Pink Gentleman Dec 24, 2017 @ 6:49am
To confirm then, walls made of brick can still be destroyed by Zombies in this mod? A shame if that's the case.
MikefromJake Jun 14, 2017 @ 12:44pm
@soulfilcher: Did you find any chance to download your mod not using steam?
MikefromJake Jun 14, 2017 @ 12:42pm
Agree with Faxtar. Unless the wall isn´t somehow seriously damaged, very old or has loose bricks it´s impossible to destroy a wall by hand.
Just try yourself ;)
Helped my uncle last year to tear down an old, small brick house by using a sledge hammer and the walls were still resisting a lot of hits.
soulfilcher  [author] Jun 14, 2017 @ 7:37am
@Faxtar: If they can destroy the log wall, I think they can eventually destroy a brick wall. Making these walls immune to zombies would make things too easy.
Faxtar Jun 13, 2017 @ 6:54am
i like the mod but i cant wrap my head around how a normal zombie could destroy a brick wall :P
