Yes, but not very well at all, because the AI can't "understand" modded content.
Unless Firaxis releases source file for the game, and real modding can take place.

I love this mod, but I noticed that Babylon's ability, to get the first building per specialty district for free, seems to be totally negated. Every time I play Babylon, the free building must be hard-built. I play with only UI mods and this one, so I'm pretty sure this one is responsible, but I may be mistaken

Hi infixo, Really love the mod but it does need to be updated not all buildings are being taken into effect from things like city state changes

@ruben Appreciate it :) The mod works fine however it's not been updated for New Frontier Pass and needs maybe a bit balancing.

@hayden Upgrades are NOT free. You still have to make choices on where to put your production into. What speeds up up the the game are OP abilities that you access for free.

Doesn't this mod just end up speeding up the game? Cities will be a lot more powerful I think the game pace will just go faster and faster

@shadowwolf You have a mod conflict, and RBU is not loading correctly. Check database.log for errors.

I am able to build upgrades for other civilizations buildings. for instance, I'm playing America and i am able to build the prasat upgrade which is for the khmer.

Well, the fact is that Firaxis is lazy. In Vanilla there is no such requirement. All tier 1 building in a district can be built as soon as the district is done.
That a few mods with many thousands of users alter this, are ignored by them. Kind of arrogant, to be honest...
JNR alters this with changing the Babylonian leader abilities... So no free building but an envoy and discount of producing tier 1 building.

Actually this is a bug. See the ability description: instantly receive the building with the lowest Production Production cost that can be built in that district.
“That can be built” - the game clearly doesnt check that because you CAN’T build an upgrade without a base building.

I dont think that even needs to be fixed. It serves as a way to balance babylon and it works well with the distric expansion mods.

@fishraposo I believe the Library Upgrade IS cheaper than the Library. The Babylon ability gives the cheapest building in the district, right? The problem is that apparently it doesn’t check the dependencies, i.e. if a building can be built at all.

@austin Building Upgrades require a base building to be built. If you remove a base building then you also remove the condition, thus anyone is able to build them. Since Stave Church is redefined in CE then I suggest removing the upgrade from RBU in your installation.

Upon further inspection I believe it is Civilizations expanded causing the issue due to removing the stave church as a building from norway.

@kralj Nothing like this reported. I am pretty sure it is unrelated to RBU. Maybe you are playing on too big maps.

Any issues been reported? I'm crashing as soon as a certain amount of buildings or improvements are created on the map... Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I'm really not sure of the culprit
