Does this work with mod Wetlands?
WolfDragon27 Aug 1, 2021 @ 9:28am
And ya know... Petra?
WolfDragon27 Aug 1, 2021 @ 9:28am
I think the oases can use a bit of Nerf now that they gave tons of food to adjacent tiles.

Thanks sir

My tundras don't look any better. I'm using only the base game. I'm guessing it may be incompatible with "Open Ranges" ? Even tho that is supposed to only affect plains and grasslands..

by chance could u improve deep sea waters in the mod in the future?
Solestius Nov 8, 2020 @ 9:02pm
At the bottom of the in game menu is the list of mods in use, unfortunately it does not tell you which mods are in conflict.
Solestius Nov 8, 2020 @ 8:56pm
Any time that you have two mods that have similar effects and modifications, the system will only recognize one of them and automatically disable the other.
MrFortuneBotNA Nov 5, 2020 @ 8:38am
Do you need a particular Civic or Technology unlocked for Tundra and Snow to get its new yields?
skeletorz Oct 2, 2020 @ 1:45pm
Hmm. I disabled all other mods and just used this one and it works fine. I must have a conflict somewhere. Will report which one when I figure it out.

Edit: I found the conflict, it is "More Production"

And after taking another look at it, that mod is a bit redundant to another one I use so I'm going to drop it and start using yours. Thanks.

Are there techs that need to be researched or something for this to work because it doesn't seem to work for me.
Lauro Jun 28, 2020 @ 5:15pm
Thanks a lot ! anyone know if this affect much the gameplay of "Desert/Tundra/Snow" Civilizations ?
jjj Jun 28, 2020 @ 1:24pm
also the place could be a trade city etc
Malice Shadows Jun 24, 2020 @ 2:06pm
That's not true there are watermelons, apples, green onions, cucumbers, corn, hot peppers, melons, bell peppers, radishes, carrots, cabbage, soybeans, pears, tomatoes, squash and spinach and cacti that can grow in the desert & provide food, also Beets, turnips, spinach, kale, Swiss chard, mustard and collards greens & certain types of berries grow in extremely cold environments.
Felix Nix Jun 9, 2020 @ 8:39pm
I mean, why though? How would a single population be able to live off of 50 kilometers of desert/snow? There isn't any food out there. Seems like cheats.
WarriorOne1 Apr 18, 2020 @ 2:01pm
Wish this mods add farm on desert then perfect! any chance for add that? please..
p0kiehl  [author] Nov 2, 2019 @ 5:19pm
oh ok
Nizou Nov 2, 2019 @ 5:15pm
It gives +2 gold to adjacent commercial hubs
Nizou Nov 2, 2019 @ 4:42pm
With JNR Oasis mod, it seems that Oases become OP
Tskuno Nov 2, 2019 @ 3:24pm
did you still plan to remove tundra farms? And I have a question, why did you make oasis so strong overall? I feel that if you just buffed the oasis itself it'd be fine, but making it so it can give all adjacent tiles a boost is a bit much.
GreatDevourer69 Aug 7, 2019 @ 2:24am
I would ask that you maybe change things up a bit? +1 culture and gold from tundra farms from mid and late game civics would help put Canada on par with Russia but in a different way. Canada goes culture powerhouse with decent income, Russia goes faith and production.
p0kiehl  [author] Jul 1, 2019 @ 6:14pm
@Nbyrd291 - Thanks for reporting. It was not disabling Canada's new abilities, it was just overriding the text with the old description. I've updated the mod so the text should be fixed now.

Thanks.
Nbyrd291 Jul 1, 2019 @ 4:55pm
Hello, I think this mod disables Canada's new ability to more food and production from lumber mills and camps from the June patch. Just an FYI.
BINARYGOD Feb 20, 2019 @ 2:40pm
Given the number of surprise attacks I have had from "friendly" civs over the past week (and, well yes, the times I have done it) I have to disagree. If anything, playing at Canada makes the AI seems less insane (its still better now vs any previous version, but still...).
ubereffect Feb 17, 2019 @ 5:26am
Feedback: Canada seems to be one of the weaker, less interesting, of the new Gathering Storm civilizations. I feel giving giving Wilfrid Laurier an extra +1 Food per Tundra Farm does not adequately make up for giving everyone access to Tundra Farms. That +1 Food will be lackluster in the early game, and meaningless once players reach Feudalism and Replaceable Parts. I feel this helps Russia especially, as they already get +1 Faith and +1 Production from Tundra Tiles.

Suggestion: Give Wilfrid Laurier +1 Culture and +1 Production from Tundra Tiles (not just Tundra Farms).

Thanks @zon and @thecraftybee!
zon Feb 14, 2019 @ 11:21pm
splendid canada buff, thx :)
thecraftybee Feb 14, 2019 @ 8:20pm
Great changes. So glad you buffed Canada and kept Tundra farming for all.
p0kiehl  [author] Feb 14, 2019 @ 2:10pm
Updated for Gathering Storm. This mod changes Wilfred Laurier's leader ability a bit - since everyone can now build tundra farms, Wilfred Laurier's farms on tundra get a bonus +1 food.
Red Key Feb 9, 2019 @ 1:09am
Thanks for the mod p0kiehl. I used it as an example to create my own similar mod with a few tweaks.
p0kiehl  [author] Dec 15, 2018 @ 2:27pm
Yes, I will remove the tundra farm stuff from this mod. I am not sure if I will replace it with anything, though - maybe I will give tundra tiles that are adjacent to plains or grassland +1 food.
AviAvi Dec 15, 2018 @ 1:34pm
In the new expansion Canada can make tundra farms. Will you be removing that feature from this mod? I really like what you've done with the desert stuff so I was wondering.
Xander Xavier Sep 13, 2018 @ 5:15pm
Thank you p0kiehl!
p0kiehl  [author] Sep 12, 2018 @ 5:55am
Yes.
Xander Xavier Sep 12, 2018 @ 2:42am
Will this work with RIP ANKI(Pick)'s "Desert Farms"?
p0kiehl  [author] Mar 25, 2018 @ 6:30am
Well there you have it I guess. I just copied the game's text.
pauloel7 Mar 25, 2018 @ 6:12am
Ok. So adjacent farms give housing bonus, from vanilla? Really? I never noticed that happening...
I was trying to ask if that actually happens, if you could tell. According to http://civilization.wikia.com/wiki/Farm_(Civ6) , that should be a civilopedia errata (I just found it).
p0kiehl  [author] Mar 25, 2018 @ 5:48am
load up a game without this mod, check the civilopedia for Farms, and you will see that same text.
pauloel7 Mar 25, 2018 @ 3:17am
TundraText.xml contais the statement: "Constructing farms adjacent to other Farms provides bonuses to Housing." - but I did not noticed that in-game, nor in the .sql file. Is is true? How?
Jessy2299 Mar 4, 2018 @ 2:31pm
Can you make farms buildable on snow tiles ?
p0kiehl  [author] Feb 23, 2018 @ 10:50am
There is a recently released mod that allows for that already.
Jessy2299 Feb 22, 2018 @ 7:59pm
Agree with you Heyoka
Rokkweiler Feb 17, 2018 @ 12:19am
Would you be willing to make it so we can build farms on desert tiles the same as we can on Tundra?
PsychoHam Jan 5, 2018 @ 1:12am
This mod is pretty cool, but it gives desert quite a high food buff. my suggestion: remove the 1base food from deserts, but oasis gives +1food on surrounding desert tiles, and also makes them farmable after civil engineering is researched. desert hills does not receive the food buff from oasis and are not farmable even with civil engineering. i will definitely be using this mod if that happens. until then im gonna stick with farmable tundra :)
p0kiehl  [author] Oct 25, 2017 @ 4:49am
The mod does not require an update to work with the latest patch.
Bannes Oct 24, 2017 @ 7:01pm
will this be updated
eternal_cheese Aug 8, 2017 @ 11:56am
you would need to nerf or remove petra to balance this mod
DankSuccLord Jun 16, 2017 @ 2:59pm
ok i see
p0kiehl  [author] Jun 16, 2017 @ 2:58pm
@DankMemeLord - I think everything in Tundra Farms is in this mod, so I would just not use Tundra Farms.
DankSuccLord Jun 16, 2017 @ 2:05pm
well i have another mod that also has the tundra farms funnily called tundra farms should that mess eachother up?
