I haven't had any so far, maybe they finally fixed it.

Would this still be needed in 1.0?
Can anyone confirm OutOfMemory Exceptions with huge maps in 1.0?

any word on if this works with B18?
Malikyte Dec 6, 2017 @ 7:00pm
Does this work in B18 or will it need to be updated first?

where in the laod order does this mod go?
Anvil Pants Jul 2, 2017 @ 7:45am
@neitronus possibly (even probably?) some of your chosen mods doing xpath path queries in shortsighted way.

The only time this mod is even active (in vanilla rimworld) is during saving. I'll try and see if some of the more popular mods cause conflicts.

Yeah I just checked and it's still in A17 so here's an update.
Demoshi May 30, 2017 @ 3:44pm
does this need to be updated?
Fumblesneeze  [author] Mar 8, 2017 @ 7:27am
@Diedel this only changes how the game writes savegames to the disk, so no, this doesn't do anything about that.
@Hirasawa Yui I'd suggest you go to the rimworld discord: https://discord.gg/rimworld and ask for help in the #troubleshooting channel. It's better to do that there than in the comments.

@Fumblesneeze, So basicly, anything with same defination or in coding terms "same attribute" such as the Floors, animals, food, drinks ,etcetc, could cause pathfinding error, Then here is another problem we all have to face, is the Terrain mods could cause this fatal error? After all the fishing industry mod is the key mod for most players (or so believed by me) , alone with the well organized mods collection mod, Vegetable garden, Fallout project or some other mod. Should I deactive some of them or could i find a way to use them in the same time? Thank you so much for helping.:highlvl:

Will this only work for saving or also starting games and opening the mods list, because currently i can't do either on the steam version, while the non-steam one works fine with my mod selection.
Fumblesneeze  [author] Mar 8, 2017 @ 3:14am
@Hirasawa Yui most mods are pretty clear about what they're changing, so just don't get mods that change the same thing, unless they're explicitly compatible. (e.g. path avoid and better pathfinding)
Hirasawa Yui Mar 7, 2017 @ 9:34pm
200 mods OMG, I got total 473 intalled but less than 70 active, got be something wrong with my mods management. Would you mind to tell something about how to avoid such error? Thank you so much. @Fumblesneeze
Fumblesneeze  [author] Mar 7, 2017 @ 8:09pm
I have about 200 active and over 300 installed :)
Kolljak Mar 7, 2017 @ 8:01pm
i have 80 mods installed and ive never had this error o.o.
Hirasawa Yui Mar 5, 2017 @ 6:16pm
Thank you so much, this exception bothers me for nearly a mouth.:steamhappy:
Fumblesneeze  [author] Mar 5, 2017 @ 6:00pm
I don't think there's a lot of RAM saved, the exception doesn't come from there not being enough free RAM, but from one object allocating too much of it. You can look at the source code here if you're interested, it's very simple: https://github.com/Fumblesneeze/RimSaveGameFix

How much RAM could be saved? Please, give some more information about the methods you've mentioned. Why the devs don't use it?
Dr Coomer Mar 5, 2017 @ 2:46pm
Thanks so much

Finally, I can get Hammer and the Strike Girls out of the horrible time loop they've been stuck in!
We can move on to raiding our way to the journey ship!
We can use our newly minted weapons! :abomb:
